When it comes to food or drink, I've always been a wanderlust and never shied away from any restaurant or cuisine. One such exploration led me to this another planet in Shenzhen. I said 'planet' just because, the name of the place is Life on Mars🌝; located inside OCT harbour. In my short visit to this busy city, I had the best whiskey sour in the town. Although I am not a great fan of whiskey 😅 this cocktail 🍸 has definitely made its way into my favorites. The Shenzhen Lantern Festival is an annual running from December to February each year, through winter and into Chinese New Year, ending on lantern day. Shenzhen Happy Coast is my favorite place to go. Not only can I come here to watch movies, shop, but also meet up with friends, eat and drink coffee. It is also a good place to go. A few days ago, taking advantage of the fact that the kids didn't have to go to school🎒, I took them to the Coastal City for a day of fun☺️. By lunchtime, we were getting hungry, so I looked up the top-ranked authentic Shunde restaurant online😍. Upon entering, I saw the restaurant was spacious and beautifully decorated, with not a single empty seat🤩. We couldn't wait to sit down and order some food🥰. We ordered several of the restaurant's signature dishes😍😍, which were not only generous in portion but also delicious. I highly recommend them👍. Three-Flavor Slimming Fish The slimming fish is specially prepared through a 90-day slimming plan, which includes 30 days of fasting, 30 days of intensive exercise, and finally, 30 days of deep purification in pure still water, resulting in a weight reduction of over 30%. This process earns the fish the 'slimming champion' grade for its flesh, making it firm, fresh, and delicious, with absolutely no fishy smell😋. The three-flavor cooking method makes the taste even richer and more enjoyable😎👍. It's no wonder almost every table orders it😍. Crispy Chicken with a Twist The chicken skin is thin and crispy, and the meat is not too dry. The outer layer has a slight charred crispiness😍. It turns out the restaurant's chickens take ten thousand steps every day and are raised on mountain spring water, which explains why the meat doesn't taste greasy🤤. Cold Mixed Fish Skin This dish is super appetizing and refreshing. The fish skin is very bouncy and crunchy, and with the addition of ingredients like onion strips, cucumber strips, and peanuts, it's hard to stop eating🤤. Ginger and Scallion Exploding Beef This dish is a feast for the senses😍. The beef is fresh and tender, and the chef's skills are top-notch. Abalone Sauce Homemade Tofu This abalone sauce tofu has a fragrant exterior and a tender interior, tasting wonderfully eggy. It's a personal favorite of mine❤️. Traditional Shunde Steamed Fish Mouth I'm not usually a fan of fish mouths, but this one is really delicious, with tender and smooth flesh😋. Not bad at all. Shunde Fish Maw Soup This was a pleasant surprise. I thought it would taste quite ordinary, but it turned out to be super fresh and not bland at all. It contains a variety of ingredients, including vermicelli, loofah, wood ear mushrooms, carrots, fish meat, and shiitake mushrooms, offering a rich layering of flavors😋. Double-Skin Milk Dessert After a full meal, it's a must to order a dessert✌️. Their double-skin milk is reportedly very famous☺️.
