    Not to be missed

There are a few places that stand out in your mind. Rinzaiji is one. I come away from it with a sense of peace and calm similar to Ryoanji in Kyoto but without the crowds. This 500 year old Zen Temple...

    Rinzai Ji Temple

    Original Text

It seems that Ieyasu was educated by Yukisai, the chief priest of Rinzaiji Temple when he was hostage to Mr. Imagawa. It's strange to think that Ieyasu, who was a child, was learning about 500 years ago. The Rinzaiji Garden is a nationally designated scenic spot. twice a year Only open to the public, but you can always visit the precincts and front yard from the approach to the main hall for free. It is a quiet temple that looks like a Zen temple with white ball gravel, and you can calm your mind. The trees 々 and buildings in the precincts are also spectacular. , It is also recommended to visit normally

    I'll enter the precincts!

    Original Text

In the in-car broadcast of the Sunpu Roman Bus, he said, "Because it is a temple of training, I can only enter it once a year when it is open to the public." It seems that the ones that cannot be entered are inside buildings such as the main hall, and I entered the precincts. I heard the voice of training and the sound like an instrument.

    Moritzian Prayer

    Original Text

It is usually private and will be specially open to the public on May 19th, the anniversary of Yoshimoto Imagawa's death, and on October 15th, the Marishiten Prayer Association. Admission is free. A boy stands at a key point, explains, and photography is OK. The statue of Marishiten is a prayer Buddha of Ieyasu Tokugawa, and it is said that the original statue of Marishitensha at Asama Shrine moved to Rinzaiji Temple due to the separation of Shinto and Buddhism in the Meiji era. There are restrictions on the day of visit, but I'm glad I went.

    Bean sprinkler

    Original Text

Setsubun prayer meeting was held in 2/3. When I came, I was full of families with children in the temple. Sunpu hero Yoshimoto Imagawa's costume came and the demon appeared. I enjoyed it enough just by watching.
