We visited Trikala Fort during our one day visit to Trikala city, excellent view and easy walking from city center. It worth our visit and we recommend it

A beautiful and well preserved site
The castle has a wooden walkway surrounding it. It is an uncommon and very beautiful feature that allows one to stroll by the fort walls without climbing the steep sides. Really liked it!
