Original Text
On the southeast side near Tsuruoka Park, there was an old and magnificent group of buildings called "Chidokan". This Chidokan is a clan school founded in 1805 by 9 Tadanori Sakai, the lord of the Shonai clan. Omote gate, mausoleum, auditorium, Miiruma, etc. remained, and I was able to walk around them. It is said that the building that was a clan school is the only existing building in the Tohoku region.
