Qingfenglou

Qingfeng Building was originally located in front of the government office and was an integral part of the government office. It is unknown when Qingfeng Tower was built. According to the records in Shunde House Records, Qingfeng Tower was "built in Tang and Song Dynasties", and was later destroyed due to wars and other reasons. In the third year of Chenghua Emperor Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty (1467 AD), Li Guangheng, the prefect of Xingtai, spared no expense to rebuild it. The reconstructed Qingfeng Building has a typical architectural style of the Ming Dynasty. It is a double-eaved Xieshan-style structure. The building is more than 7 feet high, with a masonry platform below and bucket arches and eaves above it. It is majestic and majestic. Qingfeng Building is divided into three floors. The first floor is a masonry platform with an arched door in the middle. The door can be opened to traffic and pedestrians. It is also a good place to cool off in summer. The second floor is surrounded by blue bricks to form a flower fence, the middle is the main hall, and the front and rear doors are opposite. The wall in the southwest corner of the hall is inlaid with a group of stone carvings of poems and paintings of four seasons in spring, summer, autumn and winter. According to legend, it was made by Wang Wei, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, and has certain historical and artistic value. It is a pity that the spring scenery has been lost, and now only three pieces of summer, autumn and winter are left. In addition, ten stone carvings inscribed in Qingfenglou are kept indoors. The third floor is a wooden structure, with open doors on all sides. There is a giant plaque under the top eaves, with three big characters "Qingfenglou" written on it. It is vigorous, elegant and meticulous. It was originally written by a prime minister in the Ming Dynasty. The shops are lined up, the Taihang Mountains are green, and the Xingzhou panorama is unobstructed, so it is called "the county tower overlooking", and it is one of the "Eight Sceneries of Xingtai" in the old days.
