it seems to be the habitat of fireflies.
Original Text
It seems to be a small agricultural reservoir in the forest of Segami Citizens. It seems to be a valuable habitat for fireflies in Yokohama City, but it wasn't the fireflies season because it was March. However, depending on the season, you can observe 々 animals and plants, so I think it's a good place to stop by during the Segami Citizen's Forest Hike. However, there were signs and heavy machinery during the environmental improvement work, so it felt like it was a mess. I would like to visit again in a quiet environment.
This area is a valuable area left by Satoyama, such as Segami Citizen's Forest, Hitorizawa Citizen's Forest, and Yokohama Nature Observation Forest. When you enter the forest, it is in a dense forest so that you don't think you are in Yokohama city. It is understandable that many people visit by hiking.
Segami Ike pond is a pond (swamp?) In the forest of Segami citizens, about 10 minutes walk from the back of Kanagawa Prefectural Yokohama Sakae High School ~ 15 minutes. There are hiking trails around, and I passed by some hikers. It is located at the foot of Mt. Enkai, and the surrounding area is surrounded by mountains, so it is a quiet place that you can't think of in Yokohama.
