Xiashan Catholic Church

Xiashan Catholic Church is located at No. 85 Lvyin Road, Xiashan District, Zhanjiang City. It is a French-style old building with a large building area. The design is still beautiful, and the garden next to it is also very coordinated.

It's a sentimental place, I think of the church as a child, I always yearn for the church, I feel sacred and inexorable novelty when I first passed, but I also have a timid heart when I look at the statue of Jesus. It's a point of recollection.

This is a more important church in western Guangdong, and it is also more famous. I feel that the space is quite large when I go in, but because it is not open when I come here, I can only visit outside.

Fun to come and see a church while visit Zhenjiang, not so many niches around. The busking is tall but yet not so big, with to walk around it to have a look :)

春节期间的湛江之行，除了有去湖光岩，还有当地最有名气的岛屿之外，还去了市中心的唯一一所天主教教堂，现在都习惯叫霞山天主教堂，因为就坐落在霞山区。其实它的真实名字叫做圣维多尔天主教堂。（历史）始建于，清朝光绪年间的这座教堂已经有100多年的历史了，可以说是粤西最历史悠久的教堂。（风格）教堂的风格就是典型的哥特式建筑，也就是那种前面有两桌尖塔，后面是四四方方的那种教堂。华南地区，除了广州的石室教堂，就数这个教堂最大的哥特教堂。外面是那种灰色的主色调，彩窗镶嵌在里。由于过来的时候刚好是春节，所以外面挂满了大红灯笼，这也是中国的元素，加上西方教堂的一个完美结合。外围就是小花园，很多绿色植物有自动的喷洒系统。（教堂）教堂里面还是蛮大的，由于是个特色哥特建筑，所以屋顶相当有特色，穹顶看起来相当的别致。里面的雕像不太多，就比较的朴素，讲坛也比较朴实。（坐标）从海滨公园过来也不是特别的远，沿着道路一直走，大概十分钟左右就能够走到了，从这里走，去其他的商圈也是比较便利，但是因为这里附近的交通不是特别好，所以的话如果坐车就不太好，也没地方停车。（设施）这里面是免费进入的，还是比较的亲切，也可以看一下这里的日程表，有机会的话过来听一下，也是蛮不错的，夜晚也是很漂亮。座位大约是有200个左右，不过就在教堂的后面就有一种相当高的建筑，就觉得有点突兀了。
