Rara2go:“500 acres of parkland nearby the city centre of Nottingham. The grounds house a Grade I listed Elizabethan mansion and gardens. It’s free to enter the hall with no ticket needed to view the collections of wildlife. The gardens and grounds of the park and lake are a beautiful walk. Current pictures taken in Autumn don’t do the colours justice. Autumn is also rutting season so visitors should give the deer their space. The deer are all wild and there are 2 herds, of red deer and fallow. Many locals also use the park for walking their dogs and dogs are to be kept on leash. There is a great children’s playground and coffee shop down at the bottom car park and also a nice little cafe/restaurant up by the hall. Plus steam museum. There are ducks and swans on the lake. Check online for the opening times as they change through the year when the gates are closed at dusk. There are also different events throughout the year such as Christmas lights, concerts, movie nights etc…”

It is called a castle, but it is not a big house or a big manor on the hillside. If the owner lived there, it would be very comfortable. The square house and the hillside grass around it would be very comfortable. The interior of the house has been converted into a museum and art gallery, so there are not many historical relics.”

Elbik:“Absolutely fantastic. Would recommend the buggy ride around the garden. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The house and all the staff made you feel very welcome and relaxed. The markets are really good and have a very nice vibe and the house itself is decorated very well with a different theme every year. This year it's Henry and the Lion! The gardens are also lit up at night so definitely go for a walk after leaving the house if you have time. You will need to book tickets early ..”

The overall football atmosphere in the UK is quite strong. There are many local residents and many games and teams. It's quite interesting! Successfully checked in~”
