Wondering where epic scenery collides with sacred architecture? 🌄 My recent trip delivered—Borobudur’s legendary temple and the tranquil Udo Shrine in Nichinan were absolute highlights!

Top Spots to Visit
1. Borobudur Temple (Borobudur, Indonesia) 🕍
Address: 96R3+RH6, Kw. Candi Borobudur, Borobudur, Kec. Borobudur, Kabupaten Magelang, Jawa Tengah 56553
Open: 06:30–17:30 (last entry 16:30) | Fee: $20
Tip: Aim for an early visit—the morning light dancing over the stupas is magical, and you dodge crowds/heat. Notice the weather: it swings between sunny, cloudy, and sudden downpours, so pack a poncho or portable umbrella. Bring snacks and water; not much is sold inside, and you’ll want to linger.

2. Udo Shrine (Nichinan, Japan) ⛩️
Address: 3232 Miyaura, Nichinan, Miyazaki 887-0101
