With its gorgeous Old Town and world-famous beaches, it's easy to see why Phuket is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Thailand.

Ayutthaya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once the capital of Thailand. The reason for this lofty accolade? If you're interested in history and culture, the ancient city of Sukhothai is a must-visit destination in Thailand. Home to the Sukhothai Historical Park, which is another UNESCO World Heritage Site, and includes the ruins of an ancient Thai capital.
