Everything was very good. The only issue was that the car had at least a dozen small to medium-sized, unrepaired scratches. Upon return, the employee discovered four more, for which I was billed 1,800 euros. That is how they make money from every renter for the same damage.

It is a modern vehicle with Android Auto support, and I am much more satisfied compared to the compact car I rented last time!

It was clean and pleasant. It was small, so it was easy to maneuver around, and stepping on the pedal gave it a racing feel haha.

Pick up and drop off easy. Car was a little scruffy with plenty of scratches for added character but it did the job and the price paid was good

I rented a car from Alamo in Sofia to visit my family in Kamenichka Skakavitsa, near Kyustendil. I had reserved a basic Suzuki, but I was pleasantly surprised to get a Swift, which was more comfortable and enjoyable to drive. The car was clean and in good condition, but the tank was only half full when I picked it up, which made me a little nervous about returning it: how could I be sure I was returning it "half full"? A warning message on the dashboard also indicated low tire pressure, even though the tires were properly inflated, proving that the sensor hadn't been reset. Another downside was that my debit card was declined for the deposit, and I had to pay about €17 extra. Otherwise, the Swift drove very well, with reasonable fuel consumption, and I have no complaints about the handling. It's mainly the Bulgarian roads, especially around Kyustendil, that are in terrible condition. A mixed experience, but overall, a decent one.
