What is a LNER Season Ticket?

A LNER Season Ticket allows for unlimited travel between two set stations on LNER services. This means you can travel at any time on any day as many times as you like. These tickets are ideal for regular commuters and can be purchased for different time frames, including Weekly, Monthly, Annual and Flexi (twice per week).

Why get a LNER Season Ticket?

  • You receive unlimited travel between two stations of your choice on LNER services, meaning you can make the journey as many times as you want on that given day.
  • You’ll save money on your commute compared to buying a return ticket or two single tickets each day.
  • Season Tickets allow you to travel at any time of day, even peak hours, offering the same flexibility as Anytime tickets. This includes weekends and holidays!
  • You can customise how long you’d like your LNER Season Ticket to cover, including a Flexi option which means you start making savings when you travel up to 8 times within 28 days (or roughly twice a week - perfect for hybrid workers).
  • No more queueing at ticket offices means you’ll save time on your journey

Types of LNER Season Tickets

LNER Flexi Season tickets

If you’re only travelling between your two chosen stations twice a week (if you’re a hybrid worker that occasionally commutes into the office, for example), then the Flexi Season Ticket is your best bet. Gain unlimited travel for eight days within a 28-day period and see the savings.

LNER Weekly Season Tickets

For those travelling three or more days a week, the LNER Weekly Season Ticket allows for seven days of unlimited travel between the two stations you choose and allocate to the ticket - a much cheaper alternative to buying multiple tickets across the week.

LNER Monthly Season Tickets

If you’re travelling on the same route for more than a single week, the LNER Monthly Season ticket could be the answer. With this Season Ticket, you’re allowed to travel between your two allotted stations as many times as you want within a full calendar month. This option is ultimately more affordable than purchasing four separate Weekly Season Tickets.

LNER Custom Season tickets

For those looking for something between the Monthly and Annual Season Tickets, we recommend the Custom Season Tickets. Choose to add extra days or months as you please and enjoy the same discounted rate.

LNER Annual Season Tickets

Travelling between the same two stations consistently throughout the year? The LNER Annual Season Ticket is the one for you. Opting for the Annual Pass is far cheaper than purchasing twelve separate Monthly Season Tickets across the year.
