Hostels in Governorate of Muscat, Oman

The staffs are very helpfull. The place is very close to the airport. For the first time travellers the accomodation is very recommended especially to get more information by asking the people in the hostel. With the affordable price it is worth to choose this with no regret.

I've always stayed in hotels, but this was my first time staying in a dormitory. Compared to cheap hotels, dorm rooms are much more comfortable, affordable, and great. I also get to make a lot of friends. First of all, the location is great. From Muscat Airport, it's about a 30-minute bus ride on Airport Bus No. 8. The bus fare was about 1,800 won. There's a convenience store nearby, and there are two large supermarkets within a minute's walk. It's run by a family—a couple and their two young children—so it's very clean and safe. The bathroom and toilet are connected, just like in Korea. Super clean! The kitchen is fully equipped, so I bought ramen and vegetables from the supermarket every day. The couple didn't seem to mind at all, and I had a very comfortable stay for five days. At just over 10,000 won per day, it was so cheap that I felt a little guilty. The beds were comfortable, and the curtains provided privacy. One day, we also had a free homemade meal prepared by a couple. Anyway, I highly recommend it!!!
