AAndreaThe villa we stayed in is wonderful. Very spacious, with a private pool, kitchenware, and even a sofa with a TV. The bedroom has a large bed and a bathroom with an outdoor shower and bathtub. The room includes air conditioning. They also offer luggage storage. The staff is super attentive and friendly. The downside is that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant; they only serve breakfast. However, you can order takeout, and it's perfect. Totally recommend!

GGuest UserCross Bali Breakers is a beautiful resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with my family of four - 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 14. The cleanliness of the property is to a very high standard and the breakfast was simple but beautiful. They have an egg station near the bar offering freshly cooked poached, fried, scrambled eggs and omelettes. In addition they have a special each day such as crepes, waffles crepes that can be cooked for you at the egg station. There are additional specials available each day that can be ordered off the specials menu located at each table. My absolute favourite was the French toast!!! They also offer you barista style coffee or iced milkshakes/coffee at no extra charge during breakfast. We ordered dinner at Point Break twice and the food was beautiful and to a very high standard at reasonable prices. Guests receive 10% off their food bill. We had no choice but to also have the BBQ buffet dinner on Saturday night as we stayed over Nyepi (day of silence) and found that to be very basic for what you pay. It is a very quiet, calm, peaceful resort and you really do feel relaxed at Cross. If you are after a lively atmosphere then this place is not for you. The location of Cross is between Jimbaran and Uluwatu. There is nothing surrounding the resort so have given a low location score. You can’t walk to any restaurants or nightlife/entertainment. There is a seperate restaurant upon entering the entrance of the resort but it was closed for most of the time we were there and looked a bit isolated and inviting on the days that it did open so we didn’t go there. In saying that we used the Grab taxi service and had no issues getting to and from places we visited while we were there. We organised a day trip to Ubud and did Quad Biking and White Water Rafting through a driver/tour guide that is based at the resort named Widii and he was great. He also stopped at the Coffee Plantation on the way back and was with us for 12 hours on that day. We were able to negotiate the price and he was happy to drive us around all day. The resort offers a shuttle that takes you down to Balangan Beach and will stop at the local supermarket for you along the way there or back. I was very disappointed by the rubbish that was washed up on the shore of Balangan Beach. While the beach has potential to be a beautiful beach due to the colour of the water and position, it definitely was not a beach I would swim in. There were also large logs from trees being washed up during high tide which banged into our feet as we were walking through the water so didn’t spend much time there at all. There were surfers attempting to catch waves but again I wouldn’t take my chances. Overall we were happy with our stay at Cross Bali Breakers. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and attended to all of our needs. I would highly recommend for a relaxed and peaceful stay.

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay here. The service was absolutely amazing. We ordered the candle light dinner and flower bed arrangements in our pool. Everything was just as imagined and more! Some of the amenities were a little dated. For example, the sliding doors were a little hard to open and a tile fell from the stairs of the pool. However, the phenomenal service really made it so those minor issues were negligible. Thank you so much Berry Amour! We will be back if we have a chance in the future.

GGuest UserThis review has some positives which should not be ignored, but the negatives were the things that swayed me to not return to Villa Jerami. When the Taxi turned into the road of the Villa, I felt like I was arriving into a ghetto. A very derelict area that seems to be an alley at the back of some businesses with lots of rubbish in and out of bins at the sides of the road. I was quite nervous about the decision to stay at Villa Jerami. Walking into the reception area did not raise my hopes of a great stay at these villas as the reception is very basic and doesn’t provide a positive or welcoming experience. I had to sign a paper about being charged for knowingly or unknowingly damaging the property and then was warned that my bag could be snatched and I should keep a hold of it and be careful which raised my suspicions that the villa was in an unsafe area. My hopes of enjoying these villas diminished completely at this point. We were then escorted to our villa for a tour and when the entrance gate was unlocked I was pleasantly surprised by a small swimming pool and an outdoor kitchen dining and sitting area that was very nice at first glance. On opening the villa, and stepping inside, it didn’t look too bad, although I did get a whiff of dampness. When we went into the bathroom my feelings of disappointment returned as it was very dated and had stained areas and patches of mould. The bathroom is most important to me and I felt like it wasn’t clean because of the way it looked. The toilet seat was wobbly and the water was not draining from the basin and shower very well, but once reported this was rectified very quickly. We went to the restaurant to see if we could get some food as it was late. We quickly changed our minds as it looked like the staff had packed up for the night and were being disturbed. The following morning we went for breakfast which was included daily. We were given a sheet of paper that was a list of available food and told we could choose one item from each row. One item was omelet or eggs or Potato Rosti. If you wanted bacon, it could only be chosen with 5 specific menu items (so if I wanted a potato rosti and bacon this wasn’t allowed). We only had breakfast once and didn’t like it so didn’t return to the restaurant. The positives of Villa Jerami are that they clean your Villa every day and give you clean linen and towels. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The swimming pool and outside area is clean and well maintained. All the staff are friendly, but the best staff member that this resort has is Oka, he was amazing, he went above and beyond to try and make our stay amazing right up to arranging for us to be able to shower when our check out was midday but flight was at 11pm. If the front of the resort wasn’t is such a bad position and the rooms and especially bathrooms had a bit of a revamp, this would be an amazing place to stay.

GGuest UserOur entire experience at this villa was absolutely excellent. Probably the best stay we’ve ever had in Bali. The villa itself is very clean and has everything you need. What I especially appreciated is that the team prepared almost everything we requested in advance for our child - a high chair, a baby cot, and other small things we needed while traveling with a toddler. It was thoughtful, genuinely helpful, and made our stay much easier. The location is also truly great. It’s max a 5-minute walk to the beach, which made it easy to go every day. There are also several convenience stores nearby, even closer than the beach (around 3mins by walking), so it’s easy to grab anything you might need. The staff is probably the best part of the entire villa! Everyone is incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything. Our breakfast was included for 4 ppl, and every day we needed one breakfast adjusted to be suitable for our child. Even though it wasn’t on the menu, they organized it for us daily - huge thanks for that! Another thing that impressed us: we arrived around 8–9 AM, but check-in officially starts at 1 PM. After a long flight with a small child, we really needed somewhere to wait comfortably and they have a dedicated waiting room for this. It’s not just a basic room; it’s actually very good, with a bed, a toilet, and everything a family with a child might need. It helped us a lot! The same happened on departure day: checkout was at 12 PM and our flight was at 6 PM, and they let us use that room again for free. We’re very grateful for that! The chef (unfortunately I didn’t meet him personally) cooks really delicious food both for adults and for kids. The meals were so good that most of the time we ordered food directly from the villa instead of eating elsewhere. There’s enough variety to match different tastes, and you can easily rely on the villa’s food throughout your stay. I also saw some older reviews mentioning mosquitoes. I don’t know what it was like before, but during our stay they brought mosquito repellent solutions every single day without exception and it really worked. We never had any mosquito issues at all, not even our child. If I had only two small suggestions for improvement (and they were not a problem for us at all): 1 - It could be nice to have communication via WhatsApp. Of course you can call or walk to the front desk in seconds, but WhatsApp would be more convenient for some guests. 2 - A couple of times we asked for the villa to be cleaned in about 30 minutes, were told yes, but the team came closer to an hour later. I assume it was because housekeeping was busy with other villas which is totally understandable but it would be helpful to know in advance if there will be a delay. This happened only twice and never became an issue for us. Overall, this villa is amazing the place is great, the people are genuinely kind, and the entire experience was the best we’ve had in Bali. When we come back, we’ll be happy to stay here again.

AAleksey VoroninOverall, the villa is ok. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach and main beach clubs. Deluxe room with a private pool, about 5m by 3m. Breakfasts are dismal. If you don't plan to leave early for other locations, I recommend having breakfast in the city. There are about 30 great cafes within ”motorcycle” reach. The service is slightly depressing. Our calls for repairs to switches (they sparked terribly), curtains (they didn't close), and a phone (didn't work) were crowned with a friendly smile from the staff :) Not much experience with accommodations in Bali. The second time - maybe, but I'll look at the reviews :)

GGuest UserThe male receptionist was very friendly, chatty and helpful. The accommodation is great for a couple for a short term stay as it is quite small with the bedroom space. I enjoyed the outdoor setting with a hammock, pool, bathtub and a functional kitchen with filtered water (hot and cold). What could have been improved is the cleanliness of the swimming pool as there were long black hair and the pool looks dirty, the hot water didn't work temporarily but they attended to get it fixed which is a good thing and the breakfast request for vegan wasn't delivered the way I requested and they cooked eggs and gave croissants. I think English isn't so great with the staff for this breakfast request to be executed well and the waiter forgot to bring a juice but was able to provide when I contacted reception that a juice was missing. Attention to detail can be improved here. Location is great because it's away from the main road and walking distance to eateries and shops.

GGuest UserWe love heritage buildings and vintage style, so these little bungalows were perfect for us. They were a little walk away from the reception (no buggy!) which meant so peaceful and quiet! Gorgeous wooden bedroom and bathroom. The shower is a little outdated and when I first turned it on there was a sulphuric smell which was a bit concerning. Basically, if you like rustic, no frills, no extra service etc then these are a lovely cute experience. However, if you want luxury and are squeamish about old style open homes, this isn't for you. Breakfast was very basic so we generally ate out. The main receptionist was a lovely gentlemen, a very quick registration and we were in! Rooms were clean and nice and dark for a cosy sleep at night.

AAnastasiaGI spent 5 nights at Kose Villas Ubud, and this is one of those places where the setting truly shapes half of the experience. Location & vibe Kose Villas sits right in the middle of rice fields—quiet, lush, and instantly calming. It feels like Ubud suddenly switches to “slow living” mode. The views are unquestionable: absolutely beautiful. If you’re coming for serenity and scenery, this is exactly why you’d stay here. Important note about the access road One thing to keep in mind: getting to the villas involves walking/driving through the rice fields on a narrow path, with a small stream/irrigation canal running alongside. If you’re not a confident rider/driver (especially on a scooter), or if walking is difficult for you, this could be a challenge—particularly in the evening or if you’re carrying heavy luggage. The staff offer a motorbike transfer to and from the main road. I personally walked every time, and it took about 5–7 minutes at a relaxed pace. It’s a lovely walk—just important to know the setup in advance. The room: airy, high ceilings & a glass wall My standard villa felt genuinely nice: high ceilings, lots of space, and one full glass wall that makes the room feel even more open. I had a unit with a garden view and a small kitchen. I didn’t cook at all, but having a fridge was truly convenient (water, fruit, snacks—anything you want to keep for the next morning). There’s also a kettle, but oddly the only option provided was instant coffee sachets—no tea (a small detail, but in Ubud it feels like tea should be a given). Bathroom & shower The bathroom and shower are standard and fine. The only thing I noticed: the “hot” water felt slightly lukewarm, even at the maximum setting. It didn’t bother me—since the weather was hot, a cooler shower actually felt refreshing. But if you love a truly hot shower, it’s something to note (and perhaps for the hotel to check). What disappointed me A few things kept this from feeling like a fully polished villa stay: • No hair dryer—at all. I asked at reception, and it turns out the hotel simply doesn’t have hair dryers. For this type of stay, that’s a surprising and inconvenient omission. • Not enough lighting in the evening. During the day it’s bright and beautiful, but once the sun sets the room feels quite dim—there aren’t enough lamps for a comfortable evening (reading, working, getting ready). • “Shared” pool, but not really. I was a bit confused to learn the shared pool isn’t shared across the whole property, but only for two units (1 and 2). The place also seemed quite empty during my stay, yet I still wasn’t offered access to the pool. Not a huge deal, but it did feel like a service/communication gap. Overall Overall, I left with a positive impression, mostly thanks to the location: rice fields, quiet, gorgeous views, and a real sense of privacy. It’s a great place for a reset—slow mornings, nature all around, and that “Ubud green” backdrop. That said, if the hotel wants to consistently earn a higher rating, it should improve a few basics: provide hair dryers, add better lighting, communicate more clearly about the pool, and possibly check the water temperature.

GGuest Userexceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, from the male staff member who introduced us to our room, to the two lovely ladies at the reception who greeted us with sweet and warm voices during check-out. The room itself was perfect, with meticulous attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness. The beautiful pool added to the overall ambiance of relaxation and luxury. The breakfast options were delicious and satisfying, setting us up for a great start to each day.
