Main Pool closes at....4pm ! ,: reason: they must set up tables for dinner, very strange..You can feel how owner is looking to make money without caring about his guest's needs ! The other 2 pools( far,up the hill) close at 6pm ! Also strange when guests are spending holidays...Check in, never before 1 om ...and check out at 10 am , also very strange when breakfast finishes at 10.30 ! I would never recommend this hotel for its prices ! Even his deck restaurant is selling sunset without sunset at all !!

GGuest UserThis was our second time visiting Grün, we were here last year too. I'm so happy to be back and see how the hotel is developing and getting even better. They've added capsule coffee machines in the rooms, kids get cute gifts upon arrival, and the service is excellent as always. A Pilates studio has opened, there's morning yoga, massage services are available, and they've added a fire pit area. All of this is included in the stay, which is fantastic. I feel more relaxed and comfortable here with my child than anywhere else.
I also want to highlight the organic toiletries in the hotel; my hair feels so soft and silky, and you can even use them on kids, which is a big plus.

GGuest UserOur family of six, including my parents, had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at the accommodation. The private pool inside the property was a bit small, but the public pool was great! I really loved the clean and modern wooden interior and furniture. The staff were also very kind and helpful.
There's a delicious pork rib restaurant and a large supermarket within a 6-7 minute walk, which was a huge plus!

GGuest UserI messed up my booking. I was supposed to have booked for the period during Nyepi. The hotel allowed me to change my booking dates so that I could stay there during silent day. It was a great place to spend Nyepi, quiet and peaceful and the Ogoh Ogoh parade ended right outside the hotel - amazing! The Pool Villa was beautiful and large with a lovely ensuite bathroom and wardrobe area. The outdoor pool was always lovely and cool, not too warm or cold. The villas are surrounded by lush palm trees and other jungle like trees giving a true feeling of the tropics. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and nothing was a problem. The grounds of the resort are lovely when lit up at night, it was quite breath-taking. The restaurant has a view of the ocean and Mt Agung on a clear day looks amazing. Breakfast was always a small smorgasbord of delights I could never get through - amazing value! The restaurant menu is lovely with a great variety of options and they deliver room service for that extra touch of private dining.

1. Location & Accessibility
Excellent location. Right on a main street with countless bars and restaurants nearby. Very convenient for walking around the area. It is a busy street, but every street here is busy, so it’s expected. We felt very safe throughout our stay. Motorbike parking available and 24-hour reception.
2. Check-in / Check-out Experience
Smooth and efficient for both check-in and check-out. Staff were friendly and helpful — they assisted us with a SIM card issue at reception.
3. Room Quality & Comfort
The room was bright, airy, and very clean. We had a balcony on the 5th floor (top floor) overlooking the pool, which had a beautiful view. Housekeeping was excellent — they made up the room every day. Strong air conditioning, comfortable bed, and good lighting.
4. Bathroom
Really clean and well-maintained. Toiletries were provided and water bottles were replenished daily.
5. Staff & Service
Very friendly and helpful staff. Quick response at reception and good daily housekeeping.
6. Facilities & Amenities
The pool was really nice and well-kept. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi. We didn’t try breakfast. Motorbike parking and 24-hour reception were useful.
7. Value for Money
Really good value for money. We got a clean, bright room with a great pool-view balcony in a prime location at a fair price. No complaints.
8. Final Thoughts & Recommendation
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to couples or anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable base with a nice pool. Great spot if you want to be close to restaurants and nightlife.

AAnonymous UserCheck in was smooth. Staffs were friendly.
Hotel is huge, they have 3 blocks. I got the far end of the block which was a little bit away from the reception and the restaurants and the open space for smoking.
In 2 circumstances, i walked up to the room and the door card could not work. This happened in 2 different nights. I had to walk down and got it reset, but the staffs didnt bother to apologise for this. The first time it happened I was okay, but the second time it happened, I got pissed off, because it was a long walk from the room to the reception.
If you order food delivery, it will be a long walk to take your food at the reception.
If you got the rooms at the reception level, I'm sure it will be a great experience like the first time I was there in the Junior Suite, but this time it was not as pleasant.
Thumbs up though for the housekeeping, as the found out I had many shirts lying on the sofa, they brought a small clothes rack and hung my shirts.

GGuest UserWe love heritage buildings and vintage style, so these little bungalows were perfect for us. They were a little walk away from the reception (no buggy!) which meant so peaceful and quiet! Gorgeous wooden bedroom and bathroom. The shower is a little outdated and when I first turned it on there was a sulphuric smell which was a bit concerning. Basically, if you like rustic, no frills, no extra service etc then these are a lovely cute experience. However, if you want luxury and are squeamish about old style open homes, this isn't for you. Breakfast was very basic so we generally ate out. The main receptionist was a lovely gentlemen, a very quick registration and we were in! Rooms were clean and nice and dark for a cosy sleep at night.

EElbogdLocation: The ocean and beach are just across the road, the shopping center is about a 10-minute walk, and various street food spots are a 3-minute walk away.
Room: I had a wonderful Alam villa – a huge space with an endless woven ceiling and a large terrace. The bathroom was uniquely designed: partly indoors and partly open-air. Everything felt very traditionally Balinese: lush greenery, a stone bathtub, and floral green robes. It was cleaned every day.
Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly. I forgot my key a couple of times, and they replaced it. In the mornings, they even let me make traditional flower paintings on the water.
I initially booked the hotel for a couple of nights but ended up staying for a whole week!
