Amazing
GGuest UserWhat I loved: The location: although by the road, the way they have designed the hotel is so unassuming stretching out into the back with the restaurant along the main road, then the rooms and the lobby and then the pool and spa. So the space becomes more and more tranquil as you walk into the venue. The decor: it’s beautifully designed from the stunning bedroom Balinese doors. To the paintings across the large hallways, to the room decor and little ornaments to the greenery running through the entire place. It feels like such an oasis. The staff: everyone was so lovely. So welcoming and so helpful. The turnaround service: they leave cute little stories about Balinese Gods and history, along with little night time biscuits. It’s a very cute touch. They also burn incense and put mosquito coils in the balconies too all to make it more hospitable. What could improve: The towels: they look so dated and have all past their throw date. Some fresh new towels, floor mats, hand towels for the hotel would really complement its aesthetic. The bathroom smell: this is a Bali wide problem in some places in my opinion and not specific to this hotel. The sewage / plumbing back up causes a foul odour in the bathroom. I’ve experienced this in Sanur and Seminyak. So something in the room to help like incense or constant spray will help mask.

UUtsav AryalWe had an amazing stay at The Royal Purnama. We booked their Chempaka Villa for 3 nights which had its own private plunge pool and we were not disappointed. The amenities were very impressive, the rooms in itself were really Preety with the pool access from any room of the Villa. The isolated location although might make this not an easily accessible hotel but that makes it special and secluded. It is near Ubud or If you are looking to go to east so that is why we booked it for our first three nights in Bali there to save us some time. We enjoyed their complimentary afternoon tea and the amazing service in their Standing Stand restaurant and their Spa as well which were amazing. The staffs are really amazing and they are so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay back in this place in the future.

GGuest UserThe resort is truly magnificent and offers everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Upgrading to the Palace was absolutely worth it — the additional services and amenities made a real difference, and we made full use of them. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. They are exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Their warm hospitality really elevated our experience. There are multiple pools to choose from, each offering a different atmosphere, and the spa is on another level — beautifully run with highly professional therapists. It was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes, and we enjoyed it every morning. Overall, this is a highly recommended resort, and we would be very happy to return. Well done to the entire Ayodya team!

GGuest UserOur first time staying at the Maya Sanur and it didn't disappoint. We stayed in the Impressive lagoon suite which was spacious, clean with lots of storage. We don't normally like buffet breakfast so opted for a-la-cart breakfast at the Tree house which was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff throughout the complex were polite and friendly. Also liked that the happy hour included their full menu of drinks rather than a select few. Can also recommend the Rue restaurant for tasty pizza deals. All in all a great stay and we are looking forward to coming back again in January

GGuest UserThe Staff at Hava Ubud greeted us very well. We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel is about 10 minutes Grab Ride away from the main *****. There are also lovely restaurants very close to the hotel - Brie restaurant is superb. The hotel room was nice, especially the lovely bath. We had a disappointing view from our room as it looked on to a garden not opened by the hotel. The swimming pool was nice and service of ordered drinks by the pool was swift. However, when sitting by the pool restaurant and bar staff do not come over to take any orders - you have to go up and place them. But they do bring them over to your sun lounger. Overall, it was a lovely hotel.

1121728****The room was exactly as pictured and described. The breakfast wasn't great; there was no congee with noodles, only plain congee, milk, bread, and coffee (which was decent when made fresh). The 'Seafood Carnival' was a disappointment. 🤔 It wasn't as good as the first convenience store to the left across from the hotel. That place has a huge seafood platter for just over 300, and it's incredibly fresh. The lobster and tiger prawns with garlic butter sauce are especially worth trying there. The hotel's seafood tasted like it had been frozen and wasn't very fresh, though the live music and atmosphere were a plus. The seafood platter shown in the picture is not from the hotel. What truly stands out is the fantastic service and warm smiles from every single staff member. They genuinely care, and I would definitely come back again.

GGuest UserThe Hilton Resort Bali is quite simply heaven. There is nothing the staff cant and won't do for guests, and their service attitude is outstanding. The resort itself has many different sides, quiet beach areas, family areas, poolside bars, so no matter what kind of person you are,you can have a wonderful time here.I visited the Executive Lounge Grain, Elara and The Shore across my stay, and the food was beyond amazing. I would not hesitate to come here again.

GGuest UserOur entire experience at this villa was absolutely excellent. Probably the best stay we’ve ever had in Bali. The villa itself is very clean and has everything you need. What I especially appreciated is that the team prepared almost everything we requested in advance for our child - a high chair, a baby cot, and other small things we needed while traveling with a toddler. It was thoughtful, genuinely helpful, and made our stay much easier. The location is also truly great. It’s max a 5-minute walk to the beach, which made it easy to go every day. There are also several convenience stores nearby, even closer than the beach (around 3mins by walking), so it’s easy to grab anything you might need. The staff is probably the best part of the entire villa! Everyone is incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything. Our breakfast was included for 4 ppl, and every day we needed one breakfast adjusted to be suitable for our child. Even though it wasn’t on the menu, they organized it for us daily - huge thanks for that! Another thing that impressed us: we arrived around 8–9 AM, but check-in officially starts at 1 PM. After a long flight with a small child, we really needed somewhere to wait comfortably and they have a dedicated waiting room for this. It’s not just a basic room; it’s actually very good, with a bed, a toilet, and everything a family with a child might need. It helped us a lot! The same happened on departure day: checkout was at 12 PM and our flight was at 6 PM, and they let us use that room again for free. We’re very grateful for that! The chef (unfortunately I didn’t meet him personally) cooks really delicious food both for adults and for kids. The meals were so good that most of the time we ordered food directly from the villa instead of eating elsewhere. There’s enough variety to match different tastes, and you can easily rely on the villa’s food throughout your stay. I also saw some older reviews mentioning mosquitoes. I don’t know what it was like before, but during our stay they brought mosquito repellent solutions every single day without exception and it really worked. We never had any mosquito issues at all, not even our child. If I had only two small suggestions for improvement (and they were not a problem for us at all): 1 - It could be nice to have communication via WhatsApp. Of course you can call or walk to the front desk in seconds, but WhatsApp would be more convenient for some guests. 2 - A couple of times we asked for the villa to be cleaned in about 30 minutes, were told yes, but the team came closer to an hour later. I assume it was because housekeeping was busy with other villas which is totally understandable but it would be helpful to know in advance if there will be a delay. This happened only twice and never became an issue for us. Overall, this villa is amazing the place is great, the people are genuinely kind, and the entire experience was the best we’ve had in Bali. When we come back, we’ll be happy to stay here again.

AAmanda MarieStayed here for just 2 night as hadn’t been to the area before and wanted to see what it was like. Beautiful place and gorgeous room and gardens. Clean and very well maintained. Only issues were minor-  anytime we tried to phone for room service or reception you’d have to call 2-3 times before anyone picked up. I think there were 3 or 4 restaurants on the premises but they pretty much all had the same menu and it was nothing to blow your socks off. I had a late night sweet tooth this trip and was very disappointed with the room service deserts. We had cheesecake with no flavour at all and a very tiny brownie that came with a very small scoop of ice cream that I think was sitting on a small piece of bread. I think it was meant to be sponge cake but it looked and tasted like bread. Also had 3 small old strawberries and a smidge of chocolate sauce that was not very nice. The menu said it came with a maracuya sauce (passion fruit) which it didn’t- there was no mention of the strawberries which could be an issue if anyone had an allergy. I ordered iced lattes which were quite nice but a very small glass for the size. I asked for a bit of ice cream to be added and was charged for a whole serve of icecream which made it about $12AU which was double what I’ve payed anywhere else in Bali. I did mention this to staff who deducted the cost of the ice cream which I appreciated. Any Bali hotel we’ve stayed at, you can pop your dirty cups/dishes outside the door and they will be collected. Ours sat there for 24 hours even when we had staff come to the room to deliver room service. Travelled with a smoker and while you couldn’t smoke at the pool bar you were allowed to smoke on balconies and around the pool. Asked at the pool bar for an ashtray who didn’t have any and told us to go to the towel bar who didn’t have any and didn’t know where you could get one. Was then directed to a different area to ask and they gave us a plate to use. I saw people putting their cigarettes in the garden and spare bottles as there were no ashtrays available. We gave up asking for one for use on our balcony. Beautiful grounds and if smoking is allowed they should provide what’s needed or some people may just throw them on the floor which would be disappointing. If relaxing by the beach you had to walk back to the pool bar to get a drink which was a pain.  Our room had very good aircon, was very spacious and beautiful and had comfy beds. Probably the best maintained room I’ve stayed at in Bali. A good amount of PowerPoints and it was the first Bali resort I’ve stayed at that had adequate power points that our plugs didn’t keep slipping out of. I did request twin beds and to be close to the pool which other hotels didn’t even try to accommodate but Sol by Melia provided this immediately. A few families there with small children and while the resort was kid friendly to an extent, it’s maybe not the ideal place for small children. Many people trying to read by the pool and relax with small kids yelling and crying. I didn’t see any obvious play area for kids, nothing significant anyway. There’s one pool with one shallow area for kids but it’s just a little kid pool which meant they were not very entertained and were getting frustrated. If ours were still little we’d probably go somewhere tailored to kids. All in all a good stay but we did get a good deal on the room. $165AU a night with Trip.com which was significantly less than some booking sites and still cheaper than booking direct. It was nice but I wouldn’t pay the regular rate. Would I recommend- yes I think I would. Just the room alone was worth it and we had the most basic room which was very large
