Guest UserGreat hotel. Large, yet cozy and full of Bali spirit. Lots of greenery. 100% value for money. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff are always ready to help. Special thanks to Pia at the reception. There are activities: morning yoga, aqua aerobics, and water volleyball. Different daily free shows, as well as national costumes available for photoshoots. Thanks to Kerni and Ginara for the dressing! There's a temple on the property where we went for a performance – a traditional Balinese dance show – combined with dinner (a barbecue and local cuisine buffet). Good breakfast selection with diverse cuisine. The grounds are large, with several pools and various lounge areas. Plenty of sunbeds. The beach is the best in this area – you can swim even during low water

TonyoyoThis resort is quite old, dating back to the 80s, which gives it a fantastic plot of land and prime location. It's right next to Bali Collection and boasts its own private beach. Melia Group took over and began renovations in 2024, with completion expected in February 2026. Stepping into the hotel, from the lobby to the rooms and the overall layout, you can feel the 'old money' charm that time has bestowed, combined with the modern comfort and freshness of the new facilities and renovations. There are very few Chinese guests here, and its low profile naturally creates a more chill atmosphere, free from the usual hustle and bustle.
There are eight restaurants, one of which is exclusive to 'Reserve' guests. I had the pleasure of trying three of them. Prices are roughly comparable to Singapore, and the service is warm and friendly. The portions aren't huge, but the excellent ambiance more than makes up for it, especially the outdoor seating in the evening. The breakfast selection is extensive, with the pizzas and beef bacon being particular highlights. Some of the staff even remember your name, which is a lovely touch.
Personally, I think the standard rooms offer great value for money because the common areas are so superb. The next tier up, the pool access rooms, are wonderfully relaxing, especially in the evening. If you're not traveling with children, the 'Reserve' option is fantastic, with its exclusive pool, restaurant, and beach, offering a very tranquil experience.
Overall, this is an undervalued hotel, severely underestimated due to its lack of widespread fame. May isn't peak season, so it wasn't crowded at all, and I never had to queue. If your budget allows, I highly recommend checking it out. I personally find it more relaxing and comfortable than the Grand Hyatt or Westin next door.

Guest UserThe cliffside rooms offer great views. They're very spacious, clean, and feature a wet/dry bathroom separation, with each room having its own balcony. The hotel's toiletries are excellent, and they provide unlimited filtered drinking water daily. The hotel also organizes daily activities that guests can choose to join.
Facilities: There are many swimming pools with clean water. There's also a beach pool, a favorite for kids, and a small private beach – not ideal for swimming, but perfect for a quick dip.
Breakfast: It's decent, enough to fill you up.
Surroundings: There's a construction site nearby, but it's not noisy, just a slight obstruction to the view.
Transportation: It's quite far from the city center, so you'll need a taxi to get around. There are no convenience stores nearby.

The room was fantastic, with brand-new appliances. Service via WhatsApp was almost instantaneous. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, so nights are peaceful. Right downstairs is a shopping center, so you have everything you need for daily life and entertainment even if you don't step out.
If I had to pick a downside, one would be the air conditioning outdoor unit noise in the rooms near the door, which might not suit light sleepers (though it was fine for kids). The other is that breakfast is served at Yello Hotel, a sister property. While the service was good, the breakfast itself was quite simple with limited options. After 7 days, I honestly lost my appetite, perhaps also because I'm not used to the heavily spiced Indonesian food.

Nadya IWe stayed at this wonderful hotel from March 18th to 29th and absolutely loved it! Great location, excellent and compact grounds, and friendly staff! 😇 We had the ”All-Inclusive. Basic” package, which meant we could visit all restaurants, including the à la carte ones, as well as the coffee shop with its top-notch coffee ☕️, the poolside bar, and the beach bar with its delicious coconuts 🥥 and rum ice cream 🍨😋🤤. I also want to highlight the à la carte restaurant ”Amarta” for its amazing dishes and desserts 🍰😋. As for the beach: there were always free sun loungers and umbrellas available, no matter what time we arrived 🙏, and the ocean here is probably one of the calmest on the entire Nusa Dua coast, as there aren't strong waves! 🌊 On the beach, there's a ”Water Sport” shack where you can find water activities for every taste! With our package, we even got free kayak rides 🛶. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals, which were free for all-inclusive guests. I also want to commend the cleanliness of all hotel staff; they meticulously wiped down the ceiling beams of the beach restaurant daily 😱, it was truly shocking! 👍🆒 I definitely recommend this hotel; it's worth every penny! 😍🥰😘❤️

MaliniAsokanRamayana Resort & Suites – Our First Bali Anniversary Stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was our first trip to Bali, and we chose Ramayana Resort & Suites in Kuta to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights, from 24–29 August, in a Grand Deluxe Room (Room 745).
The resort has a pleasant and relaxing environment, and the location is excellent. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including Kuta Art Market, restaurants, eateries and convenience stores. This made it very convenient, especially for our first visit to Bali.
The buffet breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. There was a really good spread with plenty of choices, and we enjoyed the breakfast throughout our stay.
Although Ramayana Resort & Suites is a 5-star resort, we felt that some aspects of the room could be improved.
The bathroom was not as clean as we would expect from a 5-star property. It was still acceptable and usable, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved to meet the standard we expected from a 5-star resort.
There was also only one suitable plug point for charging mobile phones. Although there were USB ports available, they were not USB Type-C, which made charging modern devices a little inconvenient.
The biggest issue was the very low water pressure in the shower. We informed the front desk about it, but unfortunately, it appeared that no action was taken, and the water pressure remained extremely low throughout our stay.
Apart from these issues, the rest of the room was fine and comfortable.
Unfortunately, on our second day in Bali, we had a frightening experience while walking to dinner.
In front of Yan’s House in Kuta, two men approached us from behind and tried to pull the chain from my husband’s neck. My husband managed to push one of them, causing the chain and pendant to fall. Thankfully, the thieves did not manage to take the jewellery, and most importantly, neither of us was injured.
We immediately informed the resort about what had happened and asked whether they could assist by checking the CCTV from the neighbouring hotel, Yan’s House, as the incident happened right in front of it. Unfortunately, we were told that they could not do so and were advised not to wear gold jewellery while walking around.
We understand that the resort cannot be held responsible for an incident that happened outside the property. However, as guests, we would have appreciated a little more assistance or guidance following such a frightening experience.
Despite the unfortunate incident, we had a pleasant stay at Ramayana Resort & Suites, particularly because of its excellent location, good breakfast and pleasant environment.
That said, for a 5-star resort, we feel there are areas that could be improved, particularly bathroom cleanliness, shower water pressure, charging facilities and guest support following safety incidents.
For anyone staying in Kuta, especially first-time visitors to Bali, please be extra careful with your belongings and jewellery. Avoid displaying valuable jewellery, keep your mobile phone secure, and remain alert when walking around busy tourist areas. We were fortunate that neither of us was hurt and that our jewellery was recovered.
This was our first Bali trip and our wedding anniversary, so while we had many enjoyable moments, the robbery attempt was certainly a frightening experience that we will never forget.
A resort with a great location, excellent breakfast and a pleasant environment, but with some room for improvement to fully match the expectations of a 5-star property.

This hotel is a very good choice 👍🏼 I am a little picky, but here’s my review:
Pros:
✅ No damp smell, well ventilated ( I was worried about this)
✅ No insects in the room. There might be some geckos 🦎 (which is normal and expected) but I didn’t see any.
✅ Very clean in general
✅ Comfortable bed
✅ The service is amazing
✅ The staff is very friendly and helpful
✅ The breakfast is very good, there are plenty of choices.
✅ Their restaurant is also very good, in case you don’t want to go out of the resort.
✅ The vibe at the beach is nice and if you like water sports it is also good.
✅ The pool is huge and very nice
✅ Reasonable price (but it will depend on the season and demand)
Cons:
😑 Sound proof can be better, one can hear everyone from the pool (the sound enters from the main door)
😑 The beach is not the best for swimming, and is a bit dirty in general (not the hotel’s fault)
😑 The gym can be better as there are only 3 machines (spinning, treadmill and elliptical) the dumbbells are fine
✅😄 Overall, recommended! I was happy with my stay at this hotel!
It is good to give it a try!

Nice place to stay calm and relaxed. The views were exceptional! We really enjoyed the pool restaurant and the breakfast. However, I could not say the same about teppanyaki. The chef and waiters work was perfect but the quality of ingredients could be improved.
There are list of different activities on your needs and interest.
Keep in mind that most of the beaches at the Uluwatu area not good for swimming because of the waves and currents. During our stay the hotel beach was a bit dirty and the sea was wavy.
