Bali Hostels

Honestly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had recently. The hostel is new, so everything feels fresh, modern, and very well maintained. The vibe is perfect for backpackers super social but still relaxed and comfortable at the same time. I really liked the common areas because they make it easy to meet other travelers, hang out, or just relax after a long day. They also have card games and a free tea/coffee station, which is such a simple thing but makes the place feel very welcoming. What impressed me the most was the cleanliness. The rooms, bathrooms, and all shared spaces were always spotless, which is something I really appreciate in a hostel. The location is also amazing and makes it easy to get around and explore the area. Also they have parking lots for motorcycles. Overall, this place feels more like a small community than just a hostel. Great atmosphere, great people, and very good value. I’d definitely come back.

You can enjoy the party with the friends here. Can make new friends from other countries. It's fun and comfortable to stay.

Around 8:15 PM on July 3rd, I was the only person in the women’s restroom. When I came out of the stall, I noticed a man, roughly 40–50 years old, walking around inside. He turned and was about to leave when I spotted him. I told him, “This is the women’s restroom.” He said sorry ,only one word The restroom is quite large, and the signage is very clear, yet there was a man openly wandering around in the women’s area. I later mentioned this to the staff, and they suggested it might have been an honest mistake. Still, I do hope this matter can be taken seriously to prevent similar incidents. Apart from this issue, my overall stay experience was very good.

This accommodation was very convenient, as it is located near Ubud Palace and the Ubud Art Market. Sweet Orange Walk Trail is also close to the accommodation, so I highly recommend visiting it during your stay. Hot water was available, which was a big deal to me. For the price, it’s a good option for a solo traveler.

A beautiful hotel in Bali. The balcony won my love for this hotel. The hotel is a bit old but very comfortable. The wifi works well in the hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable. The staff working there were very polite and helpful. Always smiling and greeting you everyday. I would come back here and stay in this hotel again. Really enjoy it. The balcony and the traditional style doors are wonderful when the air is blowing. The hotel is located by many restaurants and shops. Lots of temples. Near the monkey sanctuary. The hotel does not have toiletries, come prepare with your own. Thank you again! Looking forward to seeing you again.

Location was excelent, it's in the heart of Kuta, few meters away from the main street, 2-3 mins away from the shore, tons of foods, salon/spa, and stores in the area. It was 40k idr bluebird car or 15k idr grab/gojek bike from airport. Main thing i like about this bunkbed hostel is each bed has 3 sides multiplex wall and a roller blind which gives privacy feeling and some noise reduction. Inside the cube there are towel and clothes hanger, foldable table, and small cabinet. Bed is comfy. Towel is kind of worn out but clean. Under the bed there is shoe cabinet (no lock) and across the beds there are storage cabinets with lock which fit my 24” luggage. This is a transit hostel or a place to sleep the night before/after airport, which served the purpose for me. This doesn't seem to be a hostel to make new friends/hang out with other solo travelers. The cons: 1. At the time i was in, there was only 1 out of 3 (or 4 i forgot) female shower room that works. And adding more bathroom mats would be nicer. 2. Night was all quiet and nice until at 4-5am there were a group of teenagers with some Ind*an language chatting and giggling so excitedly. Some guests already shoosh-ed them, but they only reduced their volume for few minutes then continued. I dont know maybe add bigger sign about the quiet hour inside the room or make some kind of hotline number to contact the 24h security downstairs to report a complaint.

Breakfast is a local rice dumpling-like rice ball, you can take two slices of bread, there are strawberry jam and chocolate sauce, coffee and tea are optional, the room is very good, the front desk staff is very good, I was sick one day before I left. I bought a dinner for me and sent it to the room. Thank you very much.

The room is good, price is reasonable, location is great just walking distance to beach, bar, restaurant, this location is recommended to stay during trip in Bali. Very convenient, lively. The minus is the shower room on 1st floor is only 1 available, lift is not working. I can say the toilet is clean but I stayed in hostel that has better cleanliness. To the property, please do not clean the room too early, it is noisy and disturbing guest that starting to sleep after the night life in Bali.

When I arrived, there was a wedding hahahahaha, there was no place for me to sleep there, so they took me to another hostel, everyone was very nice, it was at night and I was quite scared because I was going alone and it was my first time, but they treated me great and were very friendly and they solved a place for me to sleep. I will come back

Really amazing staff who tried their best in the face of some adversity. Bali is a special place where all the troubles and tribulations of every day life can instantly dissolve. Chill House is not perfect and the main problem is … age. It’s been around for ever with no real upgrades. Some guests will love this “old” ambiance but it’s not really for everyone … although rates are lower than other options. Plumbing and hot water were an issue in bathrooms but the staff were very happy and helpful to assist in making room changes. It’s truly a great experience for some but not so suitable for others. One strong point is the vegetation on the property is great and hides many flaws. The geckos are cute but not for everyone. Some will be agitated by this. As always, any issues we had were met with gracious smiles and efficient hospitality. The location is a couple of kilometers inland from the beach so it’s relatively quiet yet has some cool restaurants west of the hotel such as TYGR, one of my favorites. With ride hailing services such as Grab and Gojek, getting around is easier than ever. More regular training should be arranged for staff; they confused the bed cover ends so the bottom (the open part) was where the head should be. Frequently found hair from other guests on newly changed bed sheets.
