The hotel is close to Reading Railway Station. The location is convenient and within walking distance. The room is small and the place is clean. It is suitable for a stop for a day or two. There are large supermarkets and liquor stores nearby, which are enough for all your needs. In particular, behind the hotel is the Thames River. The scenery is superb. Swans roam, cruise ships shuttle, geese and teal fly together. It is an unparalleled secret in the world. It would be a pity not to visit if you stay here😁

This room was amazing for the price. I asked a quiet area of the hotel and was put on the 12th floor at the end of a corridor and couldn’t hear a thing. Staff were efficient and quick to respond. Room was super spacious - modern bathroom with bath (from which you can view the tv!) and separate shower. Comfortable sofa. Lots of space. Handy mirror angles. Only downside was I don’t think the room had been cleaned in a couple of weeks / hasn’t had guests because it was VERY dusty. And the milk curdled in my tea and left it ‘chunky’ which was fairly rank. Aside from that would recommend and would go back.

I had a great stay at the Ibis hotel. The hotel staff were professional and friendly and the bed was very comfortable. My only inconvenience was the card key used to access the lift and rooms: it uses a magnetic stripe, which is easily disrupted by any RFID devices. I had to have it recharged three times as it did not work; I think this is quite an old-fashioned system and it needs to be noted that many travellers will have RFID devices which will affect the card. With that said, my overall experience was positive and I would recommend staying at this hotel.

I mostly really liked this hotel - the room was nice, shower was good, staff were friendly and the breakfast was great! There was one big problem though - the hotel is right next to a dual carriageway and the noise from the road below in my room was horrendous! I probably will give them another try and request a room away from the road next time, but if I get another room in the same location my next trip will probably be my last, even though i liked everything else about the hotel.

I work at Hotel in Japan, but there were so many things that I have to learn from the staff here in Holiday Inn !! Staff were superb!! Always smiling, she tries her bestest way to meet the needs of her customers, and her customer service is very attractive. Also, the breakfast was great, not only the menus, I was impressed by the efficient and smart movements of the staff members. I definitely recommend this Hotel as staying here is absolutely a part of our good memories.

Perfect for me as it’s right across from the office but probably not so great if you wanted to be in the city centre although it’s only an £8 taxi ride or £2 bus ride. Opposite a Beefeater which was handy but I would prefer an on-site bar and restaurant. Felt a bit uncomfortable on check-in to be asked if I was a smoker (I’m not) and if anyone would be joining me later 😳. Didn’t like the bed being made up with sheets, blanket and counter pane as it’s quite uncomfortable particularly on one of the hottest days of the year although the mobile air conditioning unit helped (first time I’ve had sheets and blankets for over 30 years since the day I got married despite extensive business (weekly) and leisure travel (4-6 times a year)). Hotel was very clean and the bathroom was well equipped. A bottle of water would have been a welcome addition to the room particularly in such hot weather. Not sure who to recommend the hotel to as it’s neither a corporate hotel with all the amenities or a home from home. Breakfast was on offer for an additional £15 and I decided to wait until I checked in to see. As I wanted to be in the office for 8am and there was no menu available, times of service or visibility of a dining room, other facilities or even other guests, I decided it may be too intimate and opted for a cold sandwich I had stored in the office fridge ‘just in case’. Was similarly priced to the executive room I had in the Novotel last week which had a full buffet breakfast included.

The location is in the center of Reading, very close to the train station, convenient for travel. The room is in another building and there are staff to help with luggage. The room is nice with a balcony. The hotel restaurant food is also OK. I went late on the day of check-in and only some dishes were available. The wine was good. The hotel made a mistake in the bill when checking out and charged me an extra fee. I negotiated with the platform and got it refunded. Overall I feel satisfied.

Very good British basic three-star rooms below have no slippers. This is a four-star location, but there is no toothbrush and toothpaste. You need to bring your own. There is a computer in the lobby. Breakfast can be printed for free. If you want to eat Chinese food and breakfast, you need to charge another five. You can cross the road to the subway station, but the British subway law and order is very poor. There are a lot of subway thieves. Please don't bring too much cash. You can use the visa card to swipe the card anywhere. Don't worry about carrying a 100 pounds. enough

Everything has a price! The characteristic of the UK is that everything costs money, and there is nothing wrong with it except that it is expensive! Commercialization is everywhere. I forgot to bring an adapter, so I asked the hotel front desk to borrow one. The reply I got still rings in my ears: we don’t have adapters to rent, but we have adapters to sell!

This hotel is more retro, there is no elevator, but the environment is very good, the front desk is very warm, will help to put the luggage into the room, after check-out, free storage of luggage for three or four days does not matter, the service staff is very enthusiastic. We reserved a 5-day period, including Christmas, because we were looking for a comfortable and quiet place. They first placed us in the 6th tower in the apartment 6B, but it was extremely noisy. The apartment is wide, was well clean and the team seems to be well professional, there is also a safety that is staying in the parking, but this detail with the floor and acoustics left unwanted. They moved us upstairs, 6C, to try to threaten the noise problem, but when other guests entered 6B, it was possible to hear TV, conversation, floor, everything! So if you are someone who needs quiet and a little silence to work, find another place. P-S: TV is not smart and almost no channel options, the washing machine wasn't working. I think that for £100 a day, they could improve these aspects!

Once the house has been moved in, no one will clean it anymore. I throw rubbish into the trash can turning downstairs. The environment is good. The door is a small tributary of the Thames. The kitchen can cook by myself. It's not too small about 35 square meters. It's just me. No one changed the sheets after staying for more than ten days. It's more like a short-term rental house.
