It has stunning views and 2 large nonsmoking seafront terraces.The White Rock Hotel is close to the town center and Hastings Railway Station, and is just a 15-minute walk from the Old Town and St Leonards. The hotel has its own car park, but if it is full, overnight parking vouchers are provided for a nearby secure council car park.

It was a beautiful stay at Alexander. The room was nice and clean. Beautiful view of sea. Service was good.It was hot week when we visited, and there's no AC in room ,just had a little fan, and we had to open windows wide open that made a bit noisy at night. Breakfast was not on point, so don't include breakfast if you plan to visit. Near by so many other shops ,market and beach is on walking distance. It was all together nuce trip.

The Grade 2 listed property is perfectly placed in the America Ground with all its cafes, restaurants, bars and independent businesses, just a 5 minute walk from the railway stations and a stones thrown away from the beach. It's like being in a New York loft. The hotel is located slightly away from the main street of Hastings, but the view of the hotel is very good. The staff was so nice to us and was willing to help with the heater in our room. Check in/out process was smooth.

Hotel is in a very nice place, walk out of the front door, cross the road and you are on the beach, (only get a sea view if you are lucky though, we got a view of some bins 🙃) parking near by and free overnight parking directly outside if you are lucky! The room is a good size however needs a lot of tlc. When we arrived there was tobacco on the bed sheets, neither of us smoke so was definitely there before. Walls are 2 different colours with holes all over them and questionable marks, carpet is threadbare in places, mould in bathroom. There is a tv and a kettle but no where to plug them in where they are and tv is mounted on wall so can't even move it to the plug. It was cheaper and I can now see why. Whole place needs a refurb as it was the same in corridors, peeling paper, chipped paint, thick dust on the lift. Definitely very tired and out dated
