Room is huge and the service is good. Noted some comments mentioned that hotel is old but its well maintained. Had a good night stay but location not very near bukit bintang and waiting for Grab is rather challenging during weekends.

We loved the room and the service provided by the hotel staff was great. They were very accommodating as well. On our first day at the hotel, the staff gave us a courtesy call to check how our stay was.

5 star services from the concierge. Surprisingly, it was below standard services from their house keeping. Overall, it was a great stay!

Checked into The Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur and it was a letdown from the start. No one helped with our bags at the door, and we had to juggle them ourselves. Then, a super long wait to check in because there weren’t enough counters open. The place feels stuck in the past - the hair dryer, TV, and even the electrical outlets seemed old. Had to switch rooms because the first one’s aircon was busted, and getting someone to help move us took forever and too many calls. Overall, not the great experience I was hoping for at The Intercontinental. They really need to step up their game in service and modernizing their amenities.

Arrived and allocated a connecting room for me and my family. Friendly staff,good breakfasts buffet spread. The only thing was the shower head was faulty iron board was damaged, which the housekeeping replaced, and the power socket at the kettle area and bedside table. we were unable to input the charger and plugs despite pressing hard. Maybe something is stuck at the power socket.

All your frontliners are tip top and well trained. Well done! And the best of all is the super king room that we stayed in. It’s fantabulous!

Location is convenience, 10mins walking to KLCC and 30 mins to night food street. Service is quite nice! Swimming pool also good for a relax!

I booked an executive suite and arrived at the hotel at about 2.20pm so the room was not yet ready but instead of being asked to wait I was escorted to the club lounge for a drink. As it was afternoon tea time I was able to enjoy some scones and a coffee. When the room was ready I was given my keycards and I unpacked and then went for a walk to the Intermark Mall which is close by. This mall has a great Japanese restaurant in the food court and a supermarket also. On returning to the hotel I went to the club lounge for evening cocktails and canapes and they had two whites-a sauvignon blanc and a chenin blanc which was excellent but only one red-a cabernet sauvignon which was okay. The lounge staff are very friendly and helpful especially Hassan and Ali Amin but the quantity of food offerings is sparse compared to other club lounges. This seems to be a trait with the Intercontinental hotels as Singapore is the same however the Shangri La and the Pan Pacific hotels offer more and varied food with enough to have a full meal. Fortunately this hotel still has a business centre with one windows and one apple mac computer and a printer for guest use. The best point of the hotel is it is very close to the Ampang Park MRT/LRT so it is easy to explore the city and it has a courtesy shuttle to KLCC and Pavilion several times a day.

This is definitely not a 5 star, more like 3 to 4 star rating, breakfast was average not a good quality of produce they are using and it can be upgraded, Staff are very polite and always helpful right from lobby to reception and In restaurants, location is excellent
