Residence Hotel Antica Perla Reviews

The room was clean and tidy. Balcony over looking the pool and beach was nice, especially at sunset. But you also seen a lot of rubbish, this was not on the hotel’s property. The shower was quite small, the shower curtain was constantly against my back. Water pressure was very very low. Not nice at all. The staff don’t seem happy, just doin their job. Breakfast was ok. The fruit on offer was not too nice, watermelon was old.

A great location on the beach, close to all activities in Agrigento and in San Leone. There is something for everyone in the area from youngest to oldest. Host Claudia is an amazing person. She helped with all excursions and information about the area. Claudia is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Antica Perla is in a perfect location. Very close to the Agrigento city and its great restaurants and of course the valley of the Temples. The pool at Antica Perla is big, beautiful and made for peaceful, lazy afternoons. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ample and good variety for all tastes. The bar is lovely and great for a drink or an afternoon coffee. Parking is always available in their lot. The staff made our stay very comfortable and memorable. There are several good restaurants walking distance and many more a short drive away. Great take out of Italian specialties and great supermarkets nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antica Perla. All our family loved our stay there. We look forward to staying there again in the very near future.

A clean Hotel near the beach. But the beach was very dirty. Garbage all over the beach, toilet paper and plastic in the sea and on the beach. The hotel personnel was friendly. Except from the pool, a very boring/sleepy hotel.

This 3 star hotel, with a lift, hence the 4 star rating is set in an entirely residential area. Sadly the beach front is unkempt and one senses no future for improvements. The hotel is clean, the staff as helpful as we've experienced elsewhere on Sicily. The rooms have interesting views towards the sea but lack of soundproofing means occupants of adjacent rooms can be heard quite clearly. The swimming pool was ideal on a hot day... The breakfasts were simple but had Gluten Free food. 1km is a substantial restaraunt but all the other eateries are 4km away in San Leon. The hotels position in relation to The Valley of the Temples is ideal. Great for a 2/3 day stay.

Terrible experience, starting with check-in. The receptionist didn't care about us as guests. Worn down place, even plants in the lobby area was unhealthy. Nothing to do in the area. Have booked a room with ocean view. Amazing. But the room... Bathroom almost useless, shower extremely small, and we're small. Shower head broken so need to hold it by hand. Towels in the poorest quality ever. Don't even know we're to buy towels that are so thin. Very noisy AC. Breakfast... Cold coffee, and really disappointed. Just took a croissant and cold coffee. Packed our stuff and checked out. Only response from the receptionist... You leave one day earlier (initially booked two nights), but you have to pay for two nights. Not a single question asked about why.

We were made very welcome and the apartment exactly met our expectations. Very good and plentiful breakfast. Rooms very good. We are 2 couples of friends on a week-long trip to Sicily. We are satisfied with our choice.

Always as part of a Fram self-tour, to be avoided. Clean hotel (except around) well located on the edge of a beach littered with rubbish, non-existent staff. No restaurant and breakfast Maximum 2 stars (I don't know how they assign stars to the Italian Ministry of Tourism?).

Spacious room with splendid sea view. We also had a kitchenette in our room which was very convenient for us and a large terrace. Very helpful and kind staff. We really had a great time. Definitely recommended!

Old and poorly maintained hotel, miserable bathroom with electric boiler and shower curtain, water barely comes out of the taps, swimming pool with gravel around it, never seen such indecency, sea not accessible, has nothing to do with a 4 hotel stars, all for 150 euros per night!!!!! In addition to cashing in, you also need to invest to have tourism..... not recommended!!!

Beautiful, very clean, we had a very good time, I recommend it and a stone's throw from the sea, a wonderful swimming pool, really comfortable, and for those who want to cook there is also a kitchen in the room, the only flaw is that the bar does not prepare sandwiches or salads for lunch, for those who don't want to go out, but make good cocktails instead,

I don't remember ever having met such special property owners as those I met at Antica Perla: available, sensitive, kind-hearted... essentially it's as if I had found my family and my home in the holiday resort. Thank you for everything and, as if that wasn't enough...convenient, or rather very comfortable, structure just a stone's throw from the sea. Finally, thanks to all the kind and helpful staff. Poor service upon arrival, late at night: air conditioning and telephone not working, cockroach in the bathroom. I booked a double room with two single beds and found a double room. I ask at the lobby. At first they asked me if I could wait one night, then, with a bit of insistence, they changed my room to another, decent one, but with a bathroom that wasn't very clean and from which bad smells came out. There's a bit of a dusty smell in the common areas, very little breakfast is provided (there's not even cold milk but only at room temperature, so to speak...) and it's really of very mediocre quality. Decent swimming pool, but on which (it's not their fault, I don't know), in the afternoon a terrible sewage effluent arrives, perhaps from some sewer near the open air. The good thing is that the prices are quite modest, but that's all.

The Antica Perla Residence is managed by young, kind and attentive staff, the rooms are clean and spacious, excellent service for the area and for my needs. The sea view is stunning. You need a car to get around and find nearby dinner places. They told me that they would close the facility in November 2022 for the end of the season

Welcoming environment with swimming pool, always available staff and a pleasant landscape! Excellent choice to relax and escape from the daily routine thanks to the many activities available. Have a good trip!
