Vanbrugh House Hotel

The location is very convenient. Staff are helpful and attentive. The air conditioning was out of order during our stay. The bed was somehow inclined with the heads down, so much so we had to sleep with our head at the side of the bed's edn.

Excellent stay! Right in the center of the tourist place. Lucky I was staying at ground floor, no lift, (I guess) saw others have to carry luggage’s up via stairs. Reception was helpful and friendly.

The hotel was in a prime location for the sights, pubs, bars, shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had "an easy access " room which we had booked by mistake. It was a dark room, with a close up view onto a shed. The bathroom was a wet room, and the chrome furniture had seen much better days. There was no shelf in the bathroom to put toothbrushes, toothpaste or anything else. So despite the gloomy room, the bed was very, very comfortable, and the room had a Nespresso machine.

Good location, historic building but a bit pricy for the facility
