Don't believe what you read, go there and see for yourself. When we arrived we witnessed an appaling display of rudeness from a couple who were already staying at the resort. They were rude to the receptionist and agressive as " all get out". No wonder the British get a bad name. The young man dealt with the customer and he then gave his undivided attention to ourselves when booking in. He couldn't have been more courteous and helpful if he had tried. The apartment was unexpectedly spacious and spotlessly clean. There were only two of us but the aprtment slept four. The staff cleaned every day and we felt very safe leaving any valuables around as "nothing" was touched. The kitchen was more than we expected with a ceramic hob with 4 rings (not just two rings) fridge and washing machine. Endless hot water for the shower and loads of towels. The pool was spotlessly clean and we shall upload photos later. The Pingo Doce supermarket was within walking distance as was the town. Go to the Chill out Bar when in Alvor at the Dunas Du Alvor apartments complex as beer was only 1 euro for a large beer and a half litre of Sangria was 3 euros fifty. The Indian Hut 1 was really good with great staff. As Arnie says.......We Will be back!! Treat the staff as you wish to be treated and they will reciprocate. Don't listen to the bad reviews...Judge for yourself.

The condominium in terms of green areas is very well maintained. In what concerns the buildings there are some (those which do not belong to the the club and are from private owners) are in urgent need of fresh paintings. A special thank you to the maintenance officer Mr. Álvaro for his kindness and helpful hand. The cost of the swimming poll is 6,50€/day if not included in the summer pass of the apartments and the price of a full buffet meal is 20€.
