The overall environment is more business-like and the staff is very nice. Parking spaces are a bit tight and sometimes full. The municipal parking spaces at the door are free after 6pm, but are charged during the day.

Das Hotel liegt nahe der Altstadt, die Amberger Brille ist fussläufig erreichbar und der Park hinter dem Hotel ist schön. Zimmer geräumig und sauber, Betten angenehm, Bad vielleicht etwas eng. Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück ausreichend und lecker.

Große Zimmer, ausreichend Ventilatoren (2), recht ruhig, sehr gute Matratzen, kostenloses Wasser, gutes und vielfältiges Frühstück. Nettes Personal, hilfsbereit. Rezeption 24 Std. besetzt. Nettes Ambiente. Kostenloser Parkplatz. 10 Min. zu Fuß bis zur Altstadt. Wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt.

Eigentlich ein gutes Hotel und das Frühstück war auch tadellos. ABER der Herr an der Rezeption hatte wohl keine Lust auf Sonderwünsche. Es war extrem heiß an dem Tag und es gibt dort keine Klimaanlagen im Zimmer. Also fragte ich ob ich ein Zimmer nicht im Erdgeschoss haben dürfte damit ich bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen könne. Man versicherte mir dass man alle Fenster eh nur kippen könne. Nachdem ich in meinem Erdgeschoss Zimmer dann das Fenster zum Parkplatz doch öffnen konnte ging ich zurück und fragte nach ob man das oben auch könne. Man versicherte mir erneut das ginge nicht. Das war gelogen. Mein Arbeitskollege hatte ein Zimmer im 3.Stock und selbstverständlich konnte man die Fenster öffnen. Danke für eine schlaflose Nacht!
