EasyStay Amsterdam

It is in the dead centre of the party region of Amsterdam, it is noisy at night and I don't think the heating in my room worked so it was freezing at night, so I don't suggest staying in room 1 as this drops straight onto the street bellow, the beds are what you'd get from a cheap hostel, high turnover, it's not very clean and alot of younger people. I suppose if you had a group of you looking for a cheap weekend stay it would probably be ok but personally as a full time solo traveller, I wouldn't stay again. Also the stairs are EXTREMELEY steep! And I know this is hardly anything that the owner can fix easily but if you are unsteady on your feet or have a heavy bag I wouldn't suggest this hostel.

This hostel is super close to Dam and all the major attractions, but the good ends here. The 10 bed room should've only fitted max 8, the beds were so close to each other, the top bunks were so low you couldn't even sit on the bottom bunk. The sink is in the middle of the room, impossible to use it without disturbing the others... But the worse thing was the shower, a closed room without windows and little ventilation, there was mold on the curtain and on the shower head, very very gross. Also the check out was at 11 but at like 9:30 (when everyone was still sleeping) random members of the staff would come in to clean an wake you up to ask if you were checking out that day... Absolutely zero privacy
