My experience at this hotel was quite bad since arrival. Edoardo was at the counter when I checked in. After asking him about places around the area to have a late dinner (9:30pm) he said that restaurants were closed, “this is Netherlands, this is not Chile” he said in such a racist way. I confronted him immediately, shocked by the way I was welcomed to the hotel. Once in my room, the noise was extremely loud. The hotel is surrounded by many night clubs that are open during weekends until ~7am. Of course, they don’t tell you that when booking and still assign guests to rooms closer to the clubs without warning them. I couldn’t sleep and complained; they said they would normally call the police but they can’t do much because the noise level is within norms. The next morning, I asked them to either change my room or send me to another hotel. There were many guests complaining about the same situation and even staff said that the hotel should refund them. They changed my room the second day and I was still able to hear the loud music. This is not a hotel that offers good rest to guests during weekends. Overall, I experienced unfortunate circumstances. Very poor customer service; I’m still waiting for my refund.
