I stayed from March 13th 2023 to March 18th. Hotel located in a comfortable location to reach also walking and with little effort every area of Ancona. Most beautiful hotel located in historic building. The attention and courtesy of the staff to the clients is maniacal. Everyone was ready to meet with a smile and courtesy every request made by me. Very clean structure. Picked this hotel as the one we have stayed in before was closed and it is really easy to find when you get off the ferry. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Had a few questions before we arrived and the hotel was really helpful. As someone else has put its not in the greatest of locations but once inside the hotel you forget all about that. Felt safe and at ease with the covid restrictions, the room was lovely, large, spacious lovely sea view, the bathroom was also lovely with a great shower. A very modern room. Even managed to watch English football which was a massive plus. Food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced. My wifes starter was more like a starter for two. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone

Great hotel, lovely rooms, we had a front facing room with balcony. Breakfast was varied and very good. Majority of staff were fabulous, a couple were a bit unfriendly (maybe they were overworked and busy). The pool was a real highlight. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms at Hotel Fortuna are simple and basic - with a desk, bed & wardrobe. My room had a small balcony. The bathroom was decent-sized. For the price, it was worth it. Pros - directly opposite Ancona station. Stay here if you need to get to other destinations in the region by train. Connectivity to the old town is convenient with frequent bus services from the station. It is not walkable so you will need to take public transport. There is a coffee shop next door where you can buy bus tickets. - Polite staff who spoke English well. - Housekeeping did a good job. - Great water pressure which was nice and hot. No kettle in the room so used the hot water to make tea. - Comfortable bed and pillows Cons - Air conditioning was set to ‘Heat’ as it’s not yet summer. Visited in May so the room can get stuffy during the day unless you leave the balcony door open. - No kettle or mini fridge in the room. - The wifi was intermittent during my 2-night stay. - A single plug point near the bed. Carry a multi-plug adapter if you need to charge multiple devices. - Not much in the area for food. - Room keys are clunky and inconvenient to carry around.

Service was exceptional, breakfast was abundant, you can order more or less anything you want. Room was clean, bed was really comfortable & shower was amazing! We used the private spa, nice when the weather is poor but will cost €50 per person. Also had a massage and facial which was really relaxing. Unfortunately the pool is seasonal and we didn’t get to use that, I imagine it would also be too their high standards. Beach is a 2 minute walk away with options for aperitivo or lunch & dinner. Yup can also eat lunch & dinner in the hotel at an extra cost. Staff are really friendly & helpful if necessary.

On the replacement of friends we were at the facility for a weekend... arrived we find a beautiful hall ... very nice girl, and here I stop ... arrived in room we immediately notice the poor cleaning of the girl, Screws and powder everywhere, the window-window but box brush-worn shower vetus.. Let's lose so much and only one night ...The dinner time arrives ...NO ANTIMASTO one first, one second a stick and coffee STOP ... discrete breakfast .....
