"The welcome from Edith and Oliver Schmid, the hotel owners, was great and their support throughout our visit was exceptional. The hotel is only 3 stars but it deserves more. The food, particularly our five course dinners, were really special and the breakfasts plentiful with lovely bread from the new bakery in town. Any description of the hotel will include the friendly bar and lounge area but don't forget the jacuzzis in their wellness area and well appointed steam room and sauna to soothe your aching legs."

"We were a large group that stayed at this hotel for several days last week. We know the hotel well, as we have been staying there for several years. This year I was extremely impressed by the family atmosphere that has prevailed there since the change to the upper floor. We were given a very warm welcome at the hotel and the service was top notch. Above all, Reto, who had everything under control and, no matter how hectic it was, always had a smile on his face and was in a good mood. The food was served quickly, even though we were a large group, and, of course, what is very important, it was excellent. Above all, a lot of attention is paid to detail and that sets this hotel apart from other hotels (today). The nice ladies and gentlemen at the bar and in the service (whose name I unfortunately can't remember, sorry) were also very friendly. We had a great week at the Hotel Sunstar and would like to thank everyone who spoiled us during the week from the bottom of our hearts for their efforts and certainly also for the overtime they put in for us. :) Since I also worked in a hotel a few years ago, I know how happy it is to receive positive feedback. "We stayed for the first time at Blatter's Bellavista, for two nights. And we loved it - is an understatement. We were upgraded for free to a corner room - and much enjoyed to be woken up by the sun in the morning. The balcony - private - and looking into the trees mountains, simply outstanding! The charm of the hotel is a perfect combination of the old building (approx. 100 years old) and most modern upgrade. The staff is very friendly and helpful - we had some unfortunate luck during our first dinner, but it was very well managed by the owner and staff, and the second dinner was perfect. We also much enjoyed the spa and pool area, a decent size indoor pool and please treat yourself for a nice massage! We will be back!"
