Located in the middle of a Nubian village, this hotel is very different to the polished world of resorts and cruise ships that most tourists will see when they come to Aswan. There is a market in the area where you can buy spices, teas, and jewelry. The aesthetic and vibe of the place is bright and colorful, the people are super friendly and there are a lot of camels. Nubian Palace is not just a hotel, but also a coffee shop and restaurant. The food is AMAZING! They even packed us a breakfast box for our early morning flight.

This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.

Excellent hotel, service at the highest level! Everything we asked at the reception was done in a flash. Very nice, calm and friendly staff, doing their job at 5. Perfect stay... I enjoyed the location for the free transportation from or to the island... the port is in a place near to everywhere... the restaurant staff and housekeeping was very freinly in addition to the guest relation Christine ... but the reception staff was very rude and unfreindly and non cooperative... But Christine always recovering the obstacles... The breakfast was ok the room service food was good i have ordered club sandwich,salad and fetuchini it was ok Thank you really for all the staff except the reception

The Obelisk Hotel Aswan is the most amazing hotel I stayed in Aswan. I like it very much. It is right next to the Nile River. It is also the cleanest hotel I have stayed in Aswan. Orange juice is only more than ten yuan. The location is very good. There are KFC and McDonald's around. I can also take a boat next to the hotel. The boat weighs 200 pounds. It’s one of if not the best hotel in Aswan, situated in an exclusive island with an amazing view of the Nile and Nubian village. The staff was super comforting and lovely. There’s a shuttle boat that runs 24 hours to the main center of Aswan. I had an incredible time here. ＜3

The facilities are old, and the hardware conditions are not as good as those of domestic express hotels such as Home Inn and Hanting, but there is nothing we can do about it in Aswan. Hotels under RMB 1,000 basically have such poor conditions. If you want a better one, you have to spend RMB 2,000+. The service is still warm. My teammate had gastroenteritis and took a taxi to the hospital. The front desk saw something was wrong and came up to ask about it, offering to call a doctor for us and even running errands to buy medicine for us.

The scenery of the hotel is very good, the Nile River can be seen from the restaurant, and the breakfast is not bad. The room facilities are relatively simple, similar to those of old domestic 3-star hotels. The bedsheets are a bit lacking in hygiene. Bring your own bedsheets. There are no USB charging ports, slippers, etc. The hotel is in an upper location, 20 minutes away from KFC, and there are few restaurants nearby. My friend who was traveling with me booked a room at Qunar. When I checked in, I was told that there was no reservation, so I almost didn't get it. Ctrip is relatively reliable.
