My stay at Eco Nubia was one of the most unique experiences of my Egypt trip. The location is truly exceptional — set on an island, it offers a peaceful and authentic atmosphere completely separate from the busy city. It’s perfect for travelers who want to experience the calm beauty of the Nile and Nubian culture. The on-site restaurant was another highlight, serving delicious and authentic Nubian cuisine in a beautiful setting. It’s easy to see why it has received international recognition. The entire environment felt warm and welcoming, and the traditional Nubian design made the stay feel immersive and special. If you’re looking for a genuine Nubian-style hotel experience in Aswan, this is absolutely the place to stay.

The hotel is located on a small island opposite Philae Temple, formerly a Nubian village, offering stunning views of the temple! At night, you can enjoy the temple's nighttime scenery from the hotel's observation deck, or charter a boat to and from the temple, allowing you to visit a less crowded temple before the crowds arrive. The hotel rooms are decent; there's no air conditioning but a fan, the bed isn't perfectly flat, and there's no hot water in the shower. The restaurant's food is good and inexpensive. The hotel has a lovely cat named Dody. You need to take a boat to get to the hotel; it's located at El Batanyoun. The hotel has its own boats, making transportation quite convenient.

I am particularly satisfied with the location, which is about 300 meters away from the Temple of Philae in a straight line. It is quiet and has a full sense of design. It’s such a pleasure to stare at the temple at sunrise and sunset! The hotel manager provided honest, thorough and timely service. We were very satisfied with the chartered car he arranged for us. He also sent staff to drive a boat to the other side to help us buy tickets for the light show of the Philae Temple (the best light show in Egypt, with Chinese commentary). The breakfast was simple and you could ask for more if it was not enough. For dinner, I personally prefer local food, and the beef was delicious. I'll definitely stay a few more days next time!

Food: Provides local food, fair price, good taste👍 Service: Good service, some staff can speak English, communication is barrier-free; round trip boat ride is free, round trip boat ride during the stay is 200 pounds, round trip to Philae Temple is 400 pounds (it seems that the temple pier charges some fees); we asked the hotel to book a car to Abu Simbel Temple, 4100 Egyptian pounds, a little expensive but it seems to be a service provided by a formal company, the driver is very good👍 Environment: The hotel is opposite the Philae Temple, and it takes about ten minutes to take a boat from the pier to the island where the hotel is located. The scenery of the Nile is beautiful: there will be some geckos in the room, hahaha, but there is no problem with going to the toilet and taking a shower, and the sanitary conditions are better than expected. Overall, it is worth recommending. There is no wifi, but it is an interesting natural experience.

Friends who like ecology can go and try it. Hahahaha, the walls are rough, there is no air conditioning, there is an electric fan, the roof is covered with leaves, the toilet shower and toilet are together, it's quite primitive, the environment of the island is good, you can eat while looking at the Philae Temple opposite

The hotel is an eco-village. You need to take a boat to enter the hotel. You can see the Feilai Temple and you can enjoy the Feilai Temple in the hotel. There is almost no combination. The food in the hotel is also delicious and the most important thing is that the price is not expensive. However, the hot water system of this hotel is unstable. Overall, this is a hotel worth experiencing.
