Pyramisa Island Hotel Aswan

Facilities: Pretty average, no toiletries provided. The faucets were a bit old, which might be a common issue for older hotels. Environment: Absolutely stunning, even better than the old waterfall. It's located on a small island. Service: The staff were very welcoming and helpful, with dedicated personnel to assist you. To get to the island, you need to take a boat that runs every half hour, 24/7. The service is excellent. Breakfast: Incredibly rich and varied.

Facilities: Average, on par with a 3-star hotel. Cleanliness: So-so. Ambiance: So-so. Service: So-so. It's fine for a one-night stay. Getting to and from the hotel requires a boat, which is a bit inconvenient. It's not bad if you come without high expectations, as there aren't many hotel options in Aswan. If you're driving, pay attention to the ferry connections.

Much better than expected! The Nile view is stunning. Breakfast wasn't really suited for Chinese tastes, but the front desk lady was super nice. She even helped our friends, who were staying at another hotel, store their luggage.

The room was a little dated, but very clean. The hotel itself is located on an island in the middle of the Nile, offering fantastic views. You can enjoy both sunrise and sunset over the Nile on both sides of the island. Breakfast was decent and worth considering.

This was my favorite hotel! The views were absolutely stunning, and we were incredibly satisfied with every service, from the boatman who picked us up to the moment we checked out. The only minor thing was that the breakfast wasn't quite to our taste, but everything else gets a five-star rating!

Although the hotel is located on an island, requiring a speedboat to get there, the speedboats run frequently and the journey only takes about 5 minutes, so it's actually quite convenient! The hotel staff are very polite, always help with luggage, and have excellent English, making communication easy. The breakfast was also pretty good! 👍🏻

An absolutely wonderful stay! We stayed at this hotel throughout our time in Aswan. It's perfectly situated on a small island in the Nile, with a ferry running between the island and the mainland every half hour, making transport very convenient. The hotel's service and facilities were excellent, especially Martha at the front desk. Her English was superb, and she helped us solve many issues! On our second day, which happened to be my birthday, Martha and the hotel thoughtfully surprised us with a huge cake – it was so big we couldn't even finish it! Overall, a very pleasant stay!!

The hotel is beautiful, and you have to take a boat to check in. However, don't listen to the staff on the boat. We arrived at the pier, and there was a boat ready to depart. The staff said it was a bit crowded and asked if we wanted to wait for the next one, which was in ten minutes. We ended up waiting for over half an hour at the pier, from daylight until dark, for the next boat to arrive. When we got to the hotel, we had booked a king-size bed room, but the front desk gave us a twin room. We went back to the front desk to negotiate a room change. They gave us a key and told us to move our luggage ourselves. After changing rooms, they asked us to return the original room's key to the lobby. The breakfast and dinner included with the hotel stay were absolutely terrible, but there were no other options, so we had to accept it. What was absolutely, utterly unbearable was how dirty the room was. When I pulled back the duvet, there was a strong smell of foot odor. The showerhead, which was supposed to be fixed to the ceiling, was half-detached. Everything, from the floor to the bed, tables, chairs, and the entire bathroom, was incredibly dirty.

The room decor feels a bit dated, but it was incredibly clean, which made for a great stay! The shuttle boat runs frequently, and there's parking at the dock, making arrivals and departures very convenient. Breakfast and dinner options were fairly standard, but sufficient. Our room, 506, had a balcony facing the east bank of the Nile, which was not sunny and offered a fantastic view. Overall, highly recommended! 👍👍
