Location was good if you’re looking to stay close to Worcester for cheap. Room kind of smelled weird though. Didn’t have the breakfast so I can’t speak to that. Probably wouldn’t go back.

This place is starting to show its age after a renovation a few years back.  We recently stayed in room 109, and had multiple issues.  The bi-fold door on the closet was off its track.  I tried to fix it myself, but was not able to get it put back in place.  The bathroom vent fan did not work. The tub drained slow to the point you stand in a few inches of water while taking a shower. The shower floor was extremely slippery, which was surprising to us given that this room is set up for accessible visitors.  The bathroom door squeaked pretty loudly when you moved it.  The room smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke, surprising for a 100% smoke-free building, but customers smoke just outside the entry doors and thus the smoke seeps in. I was not able to use the WiFi in our room as my laptop warned that it wasn't secure and wasn't safe - not usually a problem at other hotels.  My phone connected fine, but I decided to just use 4G as it was faster and more secure.  When we checked in, the desk staff was wearing a mask, but when we checked out, the young woman at the front desk had no mask on, despite signs all over the lobby stating masks were required.  May not be the fault of the hotel, but the clientele this place attracts is starting to go downhill.  Too bad, because the location for this place is pretty convenient and it has good parking.

We stayed here for one night for a graduation at WPI. The location was in great proximity to the school, only 10 minutes away and the price was much better then the hotels closer.  Overall it was fine. Front desk was friendly and helpful. The negatives would include that the hotel feels old and dated, not dirty but really worn. The pillows were more like throw pillows in size and when I went to call to get more we discovered the phone was not working. Also housekeeping had only left one towel in the room.  All minor issues quickly resolved with a walk to the front desk.

Excellent staff, solid breakfast, well-maintained property and while I was there, a bathroom fixture replacement program was taking place (a good thing - didn't affect my stay at all). I've stayed here several times over the past few years and don't hesitate to return - as long as the rates are competitive.
