Everything great. Only one thing wrong . We asked the timing of breakfast with reception and was told it started at 7am. This was not true. It was 8am and meant we could not partake. If we had known this we would not have pre purchased breakfast. Attempted to have cost reimbursed, hotel refused. A pity as all was good except we had to pay for something we did not have.

Overall, it was okay. There was no room when I arrived and I changed to a London standard hotel. This hotel was good and upgraded to a square shape for free.

The room is small, the bed is very good, and the location is above the station, very close.

The room is very small. The on-site price is 300 pounds, while Ctrip’s is more than 2,000 pounds, which is hundreds of dollars cheaper. At that time, I first inquired about the room on the spot and went to see the room. After confirming the price, I placed the order with Ctrip on the spot. The hotel is in a good location, right next to the train station.

It's on the top of the station. It's tasteful and newly decorated. It's not expensive. It's cost-effective

Check in perfect. Welcoming. Easy. We arrived early - and there was no issue in getting our room - or if we wanted to leave our luggage. Breakfast was right up there as well - the staff again - super attentive and couldn't do enough for you.

Remains a firm favourite, perfect location for travelling by train and getting around London. The facilities are great and the staff very friendly and organised, really can’t have any complaints. We stayed the week before Christmas so could ´hear’ the sounds of the neighbourhood and parties a little more than usual if that is a factor for you but I would not trade the location for that.

No hot water on a Sunday morning when I needed to take a shower. Didn’t offer a refund but just a free breakfast. Also got the handicapped room. I would have preferred a regular one or been asked if I wanted a handicap room.

A great lovely old building and hotel with so many great spaces and rooms. The only disappointment was reception staff, first impressions count!! The pantry was also not as advertised.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Room on the 5th floor was very quiet and the staff were all very friendly.

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well located next to the train station. However, the room was very small, too small for a couple with low ceilings. Whilst the description stated that it had a business center it did not. There was no room in the bedroom to work, and the lounge was not ideal as they had no proper space or tables. Not a suitable hotel for business people. They did had a coffee machine in the room which I love, but it didn’t work. They did not offer tea, and there was only two small milks so not enough for more than one drink. Strangely even though we were a couple they only had one biscuit seems a strange place to scrimp on. The soaps and shower gels etc were very good with a lovely smell. The bathroom had a fantastic shower. They offer beautiful bathrobes. I would recommend they look at the towels however as there wasn’t one I could use for my hair. The receptionists were young and inexperienced. They offered a basic level of service. Overall, for the price, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially for business.
