As mentioned before, the location really depends on where you primarily plan to go. If you're mainly exploring the city center, I wouldn't recommend it. However, if you're driving and primarily visiting the Market area, I think it's quite good. The kitchen facilities are excellent, with a large oven and a dishwasher. The electric stovetop has plenty of power.

YaoguniangzaiaozhouFirst time trying out a hostel, and overall it was quite clean.
The restrooms and showers are in a common area outside the room, but you need a key card to access them, and they were also quite clean.
There's a dedicated area for large luggage on the first floor, as well as a kitchen.
I recommend bringing a small padlock; each person has a locker in the room, but it doesn't have a lock, so you can bring your own.

Guest UserNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable.
I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

I didn't realise it was stair access only. This wasn't made obvious when I booked or I would have avoided it. Because I have 2 extremely bad knees and cannot do stairs this made it very hard for me. By the time I walked down to there, walked up the outside steps it was too late when I saw the inside steps to go back because my knees were done.
Heater not working so by the time I realised this on the first night I physically wasn't able to walk back again. But when I reported this on Tuesday night there was instant action and the issue was resolved. Heater on, but it was VERY loud when running.
Not much space to sit and relax. If there were 4 guests there is literally not enough room in the couch/fridge/tv area to accommodate. And one of the luxurious things about staying in a hotel room is sitting in bed and watching TV which is impossible here.
It has been years since I've stayed in a hotel or motel room that does not supply shampoo/conditioner so this was a surprise.
Fridge door jammed, had to push it hard to close.

The hotel is very dated and my shower floor leaked into the bedroom and made the room smell damp
This let to me having to run a fan all the time to stop the room smelling
Tuti the cleaning lady was very good and always made a refreshing change
They were down to one elevator so it was getting to be a pain to use
No bar for the night time and no hot food for breakfast this lead to eating out everyday
Parking was good and worked well
Case storage is available if you ask the right person I was at first told no but when checking out given the opportunity to do this
Hotel is right on the train station and can be easy access for trips away
Summing up my stay it worked ok bit dated and a leaking shower ment I went out every day and never stayed in
The tv was also not very good channels never worked and stopped and started all the time

Stayed here over Christmas.
Room had a kitchen - dishwasher, oven + microwave + washer dryer + balcony over looking convention centre.
Lovely stay, comfy bed, quiet'ish - the toilet sounds like a water pump everytime it fills up. Bathroom/shower is a little dated but functional.
Parking is 30$ per day (reasonably priced - unlimited entry during the stay)
Overall a great stay!! Will definitely comeback!!!

BreakFree Adelaide is a pragmatic choice for the high-frequency business traveler who views a hotel as a utility rather than an experience. Positioned on the western edge of the CBD, it offers a ”three-star plus” experience—clean, functional, and devoid of the price bloat found in nearby luxury hubs.
The strategic advantage here is the onsite undercover parking ($22/night with a 2.1m clearance), which is a rare, friction-reducing asset in the city center. For those working in the West End or visiting the University of Adelaide’s Health Faculty, the logistics are seamless.
The area's character is gritty but authentic. While the immediate hotel dining is unremarkable, the culinary upside is concentrated nearby. Specifically, Seoul Express on Hindley Street provides high-quality Korean fare that serves as a necessary antidote to standard hotel catering. Stay here for the operational efficiency; look elsewhere if you require aesthetic inspiration.

Guest UserGreat place for those who want a place to stay. I stayed there for 2 nights, and the experience is very good. Staffs were very friendly, especially Miss Sophia. I also get to chat with other fellow travelers and whv holders in the common room (indoor) and space (outdoor). The kitchen is spacious and very accessible to those who wants to cook (almost) 24/7; the kitchen is closed for a couple of hours for them to prepare for dinner (first come first serve) (and it also have free breakfast too). Overall, would come to stay if I need to stay for a couple of nights.

at the center of North Terrace, the location of the hotel is very convenient. It takes 15m from airport by vehicle and only 5m to tram and trail station on foot. equipments in the room are fully prepared and easy to use. the only cons is thin wall of washroom, which causes a little noise when someone is using the toilet.

The environment of the room number is quite satisfactory in all aspects, but it is quite speechless, that is, I went there and told me that the Internet is not available, and the signal in the room is very poor. My own network can not be used, and the signal is too bad
And the front desk is not there, you have to walk to find another place to see it
There is a deposit of 1 yuan at the front desk. There are two room cards in total. One is to provide electricity and the other is to take with you when you go out.
The most speechless thing is that the internet is unavailable and the signal in the room is very poor
