AAKwokThe hotel's design is very colorful and youthful, a refreshing change from the usual dull hotel aesthetics. It felt very new and unique. You can request various services and amenities, like different pillows, through the app and they arrive in about 10 minutes, which is quite efficient. We booked a twin room, and both beds were double beds, very comfortable. It's incredibly close to the must-visit Central Market, just across the road, making dining super convenient – no need to even book breakfast at the hotel. The air conditioning was excellent, so the summer heat wasn't an issue at all. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserWe are a family of 5 and we booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. The hotel did not give us rooms on the same floor. They said they had no idea that we were traveling together as I did not tell them we were traveling together. I answered the reservation of the 3 rooms was made under ONE booking, does it tell you we are traveling together or I was just booking the other 2 rooms for strangers .....The receptionist was speechless then, but nothing she could do as the hotel was fully booked she said. We showed up after the check in time of 2pm, but one of the rooms was not cleaned up yet and hence not ready, the other room had AC problem and also not ready. We spent 30 minutes in the reception trying to check in.... The room was noisy, after midnight bid noise came from the main door and toilet area basically every hour, waking us up in the middle of the night a few times. First I thought it was someone banging at the door, or a cleaner cleaning in the lift lobby. I opened the door but found nobody. The noise was consistent for the whole 3 nights. Other than the above, the hotel is well located and the price is reasonable. The staff at the reception are basically nice and helpful.

GGuest UserNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

YYYHKandMACAUThe location is excellent, right by Glenelg Beach. Supermarkets and restaurants are just a 5 to 10-minute walk away. Getting to Adelaide city center or the airport by car takes only 15 to 30 minutes. The hotel features a bar where you can enjoy a drink and some gaming facilities if you fancy a few rounds. While the hotel is a bit dated, it's clean and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast was average, with limited food choices, although the view from the breakfast area was quite nice. The paid parking isn't in the hotel building itself; it's across the street, a mere 30 steps away, so be prepared to carry your luggage.

GGuest UserThis is a great location and i enjoyed my stay albeit a couple of niggles. The shape of the room meant the TV was so far away from the bed. It seemed positioned perfectly to watch TV from the bath, but id rather have a comfortable viewing from the bed. It also meant two of us squeezed on to one side of the b Bed to be able to see the TV. The mattress was also uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It sloped one side and had a big bump in the centre. Overall a good hotel but I wouldn't stay in that specific room again.

AAnonymous UserWe checked into HotelMotel late in the evening and picked up the keys from the reception at Hotel Alba next door. It was a short walk to the motel. The group operates 3 hotels that are adjacent to each other including the Terrace Hotel on South Terrace which is the southern border of Adelaide City. The hotel has rooms on 2 floors surrounding a central carpark on 3 sides. Parking is free for HotelMotel guest whereas guests have to pay extra for secure parking at the other 2 hotels. HotelMotel has been recently renovated and won some awards for its upgrade. There are no lifts and bags need to be carried up a flight of stairs if your room is on the upper floor. The surroundings were very quiet which enabled us to have a good sleep. The room was comfortable and the bathroom modern. We would stay again on our next trip to Adelaide. There are not many options for places to eat late at night except for the Pulteney Pokies place around the corner which had friendly and helpful staff.

GGuest UserIt was ok, but not more. The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower. the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does. The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote. Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work. Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits. It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed at Franklin Apartments twice during our trip to Adelaide. The location is convenient with restaurants on Leigh Street to the north and China Town to the south both easily accessible within a 10 minute walk. It has a Rose Bagels restaurant on the Ground floor accessible from the lobby which is highly regarded and was taken over by new owners during our stay in November 2025. Entrance to the hotel is from Bentham street which has a few on street parking spots which are great if you can get them for free overnight parking. The apartments are spacious with a full kitchen, living/dining areas and laundry facilities. The first apartment we stayed at also had a separate study area which was great for getting some work done.

GGuest UserThe room is generally clean and very spacious. It has many plugs around and a desk to work. However, there’s no bottled water, dental set, body lotion, etc. Toilet looks old and there was 1 incident that water started to come out from the drain when I drained the bathtub. Told the staff, they were quick to come and clean up for me and send a plumber to check the next day. Water pressure and temperature was not consistent which means that it will suddenly turn cold/hot while showering. Staff were overall friendly and professional. Breakfast was the normal continental breakfast. There were many parking lots in the hotel premises.
