A great hotel with excellent service! Shandong hospitality at its best. From the security guards to the front desk, everyone was incredibly polite. They helped with my luggage and guided me to my room. The room itself had a lovely little courtyard, and the main courtyard was also beautiful. It's right by the city wall, so you can catch the gate opening and closing ceremonies in the morning and evening. The room had a smart toilet and a projector, which was a nice touch. I only stayed for one night, but it was a very comfortable experience.

The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the guest room facilities are new and complete. The XiaoDu voice assistant is convenient and quick to use, and the cleaning is meticulous. The staff are professional and polite. Breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. It's very convenient for travel and sightseeing, making for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The landscaping at this JW Marriott is quite beautiful. However, the room facilities are a bit dated. The shower had mold and old water stains, and water easily leaked out onto the floor. Service experience was inconsistent: during check-in, the front desk staff barely made eye contact and didn't offer information about kids' activities or inquire about children's amenities, even though I was traveling with a child. The auntie at the noodle station during breakfast was also rather indifferent. On the positive side, housekeeping was excellent; they proactively brought bath salts and bath bags after check-in and asked if I needed anything else. Other hotel staff members were also very friendly and helpful. A major downside was the abundance of mosquitoes in the summer; many flew in as soon as the balcony door was opened. The room's air conditioning couldn't be adjusted lower, so it was too hot to sleep with a blanket, but without one, I ended up with many mosquito bites on my legs. The complimentary Hanfu photoshoot experience was a highlight – the makeup artist was patient, and I was very happy with the final photos, which added a lot to the overall trip.

It was pretty good. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very close to the scenic area, only a five-minute drive away. We had lunch directly at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, where they also introduced the Confucius Family Cuisine, which was great value for money. We had elderly people and children with us, and they kindly extended our check-out by half an hour, which was very considerate. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out, which was a nice touch.

This hotel was a complete surprise! It's just a two-minute walk from the Confucius Temple, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. All the accommodations are charming two-story villas, each featuring a living room, study, two bedrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs), and even a drying room – they truly have everything. The room design is a stunning blend of classical Chinese aesthetics, and it's incredibly clean. The breakfast for two was also incredibly comprehensive; my daughter and I aren't big eaters, so we didn't even get the buns, wontons, and noodles served, fearing waste. My daughter didn't want to leave because our stay was so comfortable. I also have to commend our butler. The museum guide and Three Confucius sites guide they recommended were both top-tier professionals in their field, and they explained everything wonderfully! They also helped arrange our visit to Nishan Sacred Land, which saved me both money and effort.

Just a short walk to Kong Temple and Kong Mansion. Hotel was in a place boxed in by other building. My room looks out to another building just about 10M away. Room itself was still comfortable enough. Breakfast is ok. Reception staff was polite and greet every time we walk in or out

The cleaning staff were meticulous, tidying the room and replenishing supplies daily. I accidentally left an item behind at check-out, and the staff promptly contacted me and helped mail it back – I was so touched. The hygiene and facilities were top-notch, making for a truly excellent experience!

The hotel staff were very friendly, and the parking attendant was also very welcoming. The front desk even gave me a special gift from Qufu when I checked out, which was a nice touch to remember the city by. The hotel's location is fantastic, right near the Three Confucius Sites and a pedestrian street. While the room decor showed a little wear and tear and wasn't spectacular, and the bathroom was a bit small, and the elevator felt a little cramped, none of these minor points affected a good, restful stay.

During my trip to Qufu, I was fortunate to stay at Guandemen Manju B&B, a very special place to stay. It is located in the center of Qufu and has a superior location, which allows me to easily go to cultural landmarks such as Confucius Temple and Confucius Mansion to feel the historical charm of this ancient city. The design style of the homestay combines traditional and modern elements to create a quiet and elegant atmosphere. The interior decoration of the room is simple and stylish, and the beds are soft and comfortable, ensuring a good quality of sleep. Although the hotel does not provide catering services, the staff was very enthusiastic to recommend the surrounding food to me, so that while exploring local food, I can feel the hospitality of Qufu. In terms of service, the staff of the hotel are very professional and friendly, and they pay full attention to the needs of every guest. Whether it is check-in procedures or daily consultation, they have shown patience and meticulousness, which makes me feel the warmth of home. Although no catering service is provided, the convenience of the homestay has not been affected. There are many restaurants and snack bars around, which allows me to easily enjoy a variety of cuisines. This arrangement has given me more freedom to explore and try the local food culture. In short, Qufu Guandemen Manju B&B is an ideal accommodation choice, whether it is for travelers who want to experience traditional culture or tourists seeking a comfortable accommodation environment.
