We had a really wonderful stay . The room is very spacious and clean. And the location is perfect! Thank you for the great hospitality!

Location: it's walking distance to the entrance of Confucius Temple, it's a plus point. And it's at big intersections, so access-wise, the location is good. Cleanliness: great but could be improved as i still found the carpet and floor dusty Service: all receptionists were so helpful and friendly. they tried their best to communicate with non Mandarin speakers. Also, my deepest gratitude to MiaoMiao for her service. She even accompanied me to the restaurant next door to help me ordering some food. Such hospitality really moved me :”) Food: breakfast was great. didn't expect it to be varied but it was. from congee to salad, bread to rice, they got options. Tasted pretty good as well. They also gave a plate of fruits (tomatoes, bananas, orange) and were generous with bottled water

The atmosphere of JW Marriott Qufu beautifully harmonizes with the unique architecture of Qufu. The staff are polite, attentive, and always ready to assist, which made the stay very pleasant. The hotel itself is set within a stunning landscape, and its location is perfect—just a short walk to the birthplace of Confucius. Both the scenic views and the excellent facilities ensure that every guest can fully enjoy their time here.

Fantastic location next to the main attractions and shopping areas. Due to low season, there were no crowds and we had the breakfast buffet pretty much to ourselves. The buffet had a selection of local and international dishes. The staff were courteous and assisted wherever possible despite possible despite the language barrier. The rooms were massive and very clean. Our only complaint was the hot water in the shower of our room was not hot enough. We had it to the max and still the water was lukewarm. Not really good after a long day out in the cold!

all the staffs are all very friendly. the front desk, housekeepers, and the staffs in the restaurant. the variety of food in the breakfast spread was good. I especially like the complimentary fruit tray provided every afternoon and light porridge every night. the hotel was very understanding and had offered to change my room due to the leakage from the heavy rain. as I did not request for the change, I was impressed that they had try to accommodate thou running on full occupancy. I was impressed by the hotel teamwork n unity. the team worked together to block the flood from entering from the main gate by stacking the sand bags, they worked tirelessly in the heavy downpour and overcoming the flood. Conveniently located right next to the Confucius Temple, it offers direct access to the park and the opportunity to watch the opening and closing of the city gates. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious; the egg rolls and ramen are particularly tasty, and the menu changes daily.

Older hotel, but still in pretty good condition. Nice quiet location. Breakfast OK. Must have the strongest coffee in China. Still, hotels providing toast without butter or margarine is a bit of a bugbear of mine, but a minor problem nonetheless. Shout out to the staff at this place who were all attentive, helpful and wonderfully pleasant. This hotel is about 1500m due South of the old town South Gate. To get to the hotel from the fast train station, take bus K01 (¥1) and get off at Datong Lu. Turn right for a hand made noodle restaurant at the intersection. Across the road is a popular McDonald's, and downstairs from that is a fully stocked supermarket. The 'san kong' sights start at the South Gate where you buy your thru ticke int. The temple and mansion are very interesting, and expect crowds. ¥7 for a Didi to the South Gate. The cemetery where 100k Kong people are buried is worth a look for the Confucius burial area. This area is only a 500m walk from the entrance. The whole wooded area is large, but you can skip the bus tour as they only stop at the main site anyway, and drive like Fangio through the rest. A slow three wheel open trike cost ¥10 back to the hotel
