JJessie Ly Doan 丽丽The hotel just opened in 2024, so everything is still very new. The reception is on the top floor (27th), along with the restaurant, gym, and laundry room.
My room was decorated in a B-Duck theme. It was super spacious and even had toys inside, which my child really enjoyed. Everything was cute and carefully arranged. I was surprised to see a Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom!
The breakfast buffet was delicious and had more variety than other hotels I’ve stayed at recently. I especially liked the instant coffee packets – very convenient, and not many hotels offer that.
There’s a free laundry and drying service, and they even folded the clothes and delivered them to the room after drying.
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is also in a very convenient area, close to a supermarket and lots of good restaurants.
I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Qufu.

This hotel choice for my trip was such a pleasant surprise! The location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Check-in was efficient and quick, and the lady at the front desk was so kind, patiently recommending local attractions and delicious food.
My room was clean and tidy, with soft and skin-friendly bedding – I slept wonderfully. The facilities were complete and brand new, including a smart toilet, an HD TV, and high-speed WiFi. The shower water temperature was stable, and the water pressure was excellent. The view from the window was expansive, with no noise, making it peaceful and comfortable.
The breakfast offered a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options. The ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted great. The housekeeping staff cleaned meticulously every day and replenished supplies promptly. Checking out was also seamless, with no waiting. The entire experience was fantastic, and the value for money is outstanding! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town and have already recommended it to my friends~

MMalidaThe room was very satisfactory! Especially for breakfast, we could eat sweet potatoes from Sishui, which were really delicious. They were the best sweet potatoes I have ever eaten in my life, sweet and sticky.
In the evening, the hotel not only provided fruits, but also provided some longan and white fungus health porridge. Although I was afraid of getting fat, I couldn't resist the temptation and ate it.

GGuest UserConveniently located right next to the Confucius Temple, it offers direct access to the park and the opportunity to watch the opening and closing of the city gates. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious; the egg rolls and ramen are particularly tasty, and the menu changes daily.

WWeifengguoguoThis Shangri-La is located outside the ancient city, but it's very convenient, only a 5-minute drive to the Confucius Temple. It's also quite tall, offering excellent views. From the balcony, you can enjoy river views, and from some angles, you can even spot the golden glazed tile roof of the Dacheng Hall. The service and cleanliness are reassuring, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. The pool water temperature is just right, and there's also a hot tub, which is very relaxing after a shower. However, there's no executive lounge; the happy hour and afternoon tea for Horizon Club guests are held in the lobby lounge, and they provide a 150 RMB voucher that can be used daily at the Chinese restaurant. Personally, I'd suggest skipping the Horizon Club. Overall, staying at the Shangri-La is an excellent choice when visiting Qufu.

CChichidechiFacilities: A great hostel, it's been a while since I've stayed in one, and it brought back good old memories. The rooms are in the back courtyard, very quiet, and there's a bar in the front courtyard where you can socialize. The price is also reasonable.
Cleanliness: Very good, very clean.
Environment: Great, the transportation nearby is very convenient, and it's also very close to the attractions.
Service: Classic hostel style, everyone is very nice and approachable. Next time I come to Qufu, I'll definitely stay here again.

AAnonymous UserThey upgraded our room. The location is excellent, right in the city, and you can easily watch the gate opening/closing ceremony just outside. It's also very convenient to get to the Confucius Temple and Mansion. The staff's service attitude was really good and genuine. I recommend visiting the Mencius Temple and Mansion; it's quiet and understated, and engravings are much cheaper there.

CchaugerThe room is comfortable, especially the room service is very thoughtful. The front desk lady is warm and enthusiastic. As soon as she enters the door, she can recognize the guests who have made reservations and arrived on time. She turns on the air conditioner in advance, helps with luggage, guides guests to check in, asks if there is enough mineral water, and refills it if not, so that guests who want to make tea can enjoy it. The hotel parking lot is shaded, and parking under the big fragrant pear tree feels fruity. The room is decorated in a very traditional Chinese style. Even the restaurant is named Junzitang. The private dishes of the Confucius Mansion are worth trying, and the strong atmosphere of Confucius culture is everywhere.

LLolita🏢 : The outside is a bit old but the reception place is bright and clear, easy to get around.
🏙️ : the location is absolutely amazing, very near to all that should be visited in QuFu
🚬 : although public areas are smoking free, it smelled terribly bad cigarettes. Even inside my room, it smelled strong odor of tobacco which was unpleasant.
🧹 : cleanliness is average and could be improved as I found some ashes and one or two peels of sunflower seeds.
🥞 Breakfast served is Chinese cuisine, very rich and delicious. Very much liked it !
Nice music during shower time which is put automatically.
Good quality bed, very enjoyable sleep.

BBotinichWe specially chose to stay in Chufu to pay our respects to the Great Confucius. It was a must-visit to see his temple, mansion house, and tomb.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the temple and mansion house. There are also plenty of super markets and cafes.
Getting to the hotel was a breeze — a direct bus from the rail station took us there, and the fare was just a 1 yuan! The room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.
The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay pleasant. If you’re planning a visit, this is definitely a spot worth considering for a deeper dive into Confucian culture!
