A great hotel with excellent service! Shandong hospitality at its best. From the security guards to the front desk, everyone was incredibly polite. They helped with my luggage and guided me to my room. The room itself had a lovely little courtyard, and the main courtyard was also beautiful. It's right by the city wall, so you can catch the gate opening and closing ceremonies in the morning and evening. The room had a smart toilet and a projector, which was a nice touch. I only stayed for one night, but it was a very comfortable experience.

The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the guest room facilities are new and complete. The XiaoDu voice assistant is convenient and quick to use, and the cleaning is meticulous. The staff are professional and polite. Breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. It's very convenient for travel and sightseeing, making for a pleasant and relaxing stay. A top choice for your trip.

After scouring Trip.com, I found this hotel with incredible value for money! I stayed here for all five nights in Qufu, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. I had checked out a few other places before deciding on this one. The accommodations are fantastic. There's a beautiful, well-lit courtyard in the center, and sunlight streams into the bedroom as soon as you open the door. The bedding was very clean, and I especially appreciated the excellent drinking water setup. The room has a direct-drinking dispenser that provides boiling water in three seconds, so no worries about kettle hygiene. The soundproofing in the bedroom is great, and even the curtains are double-layered, which is super friendly for those sensitive to light. I also highly recommend booking a room with a small balcony! It doesn't cost much more, and the room is huge, the bed is super big, and it even has a projector! For the same price, staying here is simply amazing! When you don't feel like going out, you can head to the bar and lounge area downstairs. They have billiards, karaoke, board games, and you can grab a drink – they have it all. According to the owner, the hostel has been operating for many years, and he even showed me a thick guestbook. If you're interested, you can flip through it and leave your own message. On the first day of my check-in, a kind front desk lady assisted me, and the owner helped me with my luggage. The overall stay was superb, and the hotel staff are very friendly. You can tell the owner if you need anything. If I get a chance to visit Qufu again, I'll definitely stay here! Regarding the location: Yan Temple is right across the street, making it one of the three closest hotels. To get to the snack street or Confucius Temple, you just need to scan a shared bike at the entrance, and you're there!

The landscaping at this JW Marriott is quite beautiful. However, the room facilities are a bit dated. The shower had mold and old water stains, and water easily leaked out onto the floor. Service experience was inconsistent: during check-in, the front desk staff barely made eye contact and didn't offer information about kids' activities or inquire about children's amenities, even though I was traveling with a child. The auntie at the noodle station during breakfast was also rather indifferent. On the positive side, housekeeping was excellent; they proactively brought bath salts and bath bags after check-in and asked if I needed anything else. Other hotel staff members were also very friendly and helpful. A major downside was the abundance of mosquitoes in the summer; many flew in as soon as the balcony door was opened. The room's air conditioning couldn't be adjusted lower, so it was too hot to sleep with a blanket, but without one, I ended up with many mosquito bites on my legs. The complimentary Hanfu photoshoot experience was a highlight – the makeup artist was patient, and I was very happy with the final photos, which added a lot to the overall trip.

The hotel is visually stunning, tastefully decorated with authentic elements of local culture and great attention to detail in both style and functionality. The establishment shows a surprising amount of facilities that span from a quality swimming pool and gym to lounge bars, restaurants, a garden with orchard and stables, shops, event areas with proper separation that makes it lively yet never noisy or chaotic. It is rare to find a hotel that is suitable for both couples and families but Shangri-la did it perfectly. Cleanliness and customer service are as you would expect from a hotel of this category. Breakfast although pricey compared to other options in the area was mostly worth the dime and never excessively crowded. Special mention to the lounge bar that beats every local option on every level, surprisingly including prices. We went bar hopping after the lounge bar and we're shocked to find that local bars were charging twice or three times as much for much lower quality drinks and environment compared to ShangriLa.

The hotel just opened in 2024, so everything is still very new. The reception is on the top floor (27th), along with the restaurant, gym, and laundry room. My room was decorated in a B-Duck theme. It was super spacious and even had toys inside, which my child really enjoyed. Everything was cute and carefully arranged. I was surprised to see a Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom! The breakfast buffet was delicious and had more variety than other hotels I’ve stayed at recently. I especially liked the instant coffee packets – very convenient, and not many hotels offer that. There’s a free laundry and drying service, and they even folded the clothes and delivered them to the room after drying. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also in a very convenient area, close to a supermarket and lots of good restaurants. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Qufu.

The room was very satisfactory! Especially for breakfast, we could eat sweet potatoes from Sishui, which were really delicious. They were the best sweet potatoes I have ever eaten in my life, sweet and sticky. In the evening, the hotel not only provided fruits, but also provided some longan and white fungus health porridge. Although I was afraid of getting fat, I couldn't resist the temptation and ate it.

Summary Great location BUT loud music at 745/8am daily for 30mins , plus cigarette stench in rooms Location Excellent, right Infront of Kong Temple (it's huge), HOWEVER be warned of the loud music coming from the temple and cigarette smell (read below). Kong Mansion is about 5mins walk from the Temple's right , and then the cemetery is located behind the There is a performance at the front of the temple gates at 8am every morning - the music is so loud it will wake you up from 745am 😂 10mins walk to their pedestrian street , you will find Luckin Coffee, Hey Tea etc and I highly reccomend MOBEN Thai restaurant located about 5mins walk (north) from Hey Tea . Rooms We walked into a room which stunk of cigarette smell. Suspect it was either coming through the shared air vents or the linen/towels , as if they were dried at a location where others smoke nearby. It's a pity because it's a really nice hotel. We had someone trying to enter the lift with a lighted cigarette in his mouth , and I had to push him out . That's crazy . Breakfast Simple and nice local spread. Gym Only 1 threadmill and 1 spinning bike , shared in the same room as the guests washing machine & dryer. Staff Very helpful and polite staff but they don't speak English. Outstanding. I rarely give a hotel 5/5 but if I could give this hotel 6/5 I would. It’s great value for money. Hotel is very new and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic and it’s just across the road from the key attraction in Qufu. Perfect to be honest.
