GGuest UserA great hotel with excellent service! Shandong hospitality at its best. From the security guards to the front desk, everyone was incredibly polite. They helped with my luggage and guided me to my room. The room itself had a lovely little courtyard, and the main courtyard was also beautiful. It's right by the city wall, so you can catch the gate opening and closing ceremonies in the morning and evening. The room had a smart toilet and a projector, which was a nice touch. I only stayed for one night, but it was a very comfortable experience.

GGuest UserThe facilities are quite new and very clean, the environment is excellent, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich. There's a lovely rooftop terrace with a great vibe. The service is fantastic, they offer complimentary fruit, and even a Hanfu experience. The room also had a copy of ”Qian's Family Instructions,” which is a thoughtful touch. Thumbs up!👍

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to the Confucius Temple and Mansion. The ambiance is wonderful, with ancient-style Chinese architecture throughout. Both the rooms and public areas are very well-designed. The courtyard room has a large private courtyard, perfect for relaxing. The hotel service is outstanding. They contacted us a day in advance and even prepared children's toiletries and a step stool. Any issues we had were immediately addressed. On our last day, they even allowed us a late check-out because our child was asleep – so thoughtful! We ordered a few signature dishes at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and the taste was great. Although it's a bit pricey, there's really nothing else to fault. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

YYingziOur two-night stay at the Shangri-La Qufu truly showed us that a great hotel is a captivating part of the journey itself. The warmth began the moment we arrived at Qufu East Station with the pick-up service. I had casually inquired about transportation when booking, and to my surprise, the hotel had already made all the arrangements. This thoughtful gesture instantly melted away our travel fatigue. The hotel's location is conveniently close to several attractions, and they offer dedicated shuttle services to these spots, which is particularly great for seniors and families with children. The check-in experience was full of pleasant surprises. The front desk upgraded our room, and as I opened the door, my eyes lit up: the spacious room directly faced the ancient city's central axis, with a picturesque view of flying eaves, dark tiles, and lush ancient cypresses outside the window. At dawn and dusk, you can even watch the changing light and shadows on the buildings in the distance. The hotel's decor is cozy and elegant, and the cleanliness details are impeccable: the bedding was pristine and crisp, the bathroom sparkled without a blemish, and even the remote control was neatly encased in a plastic bag. The service is truly this hotel's most impressive calling card; everyone wears a genuine smile, perfectly embodying the Confucian virtues of 'gentleness, kindness, courtesy, frugality, and humility.' In Qufu, understanding Confucius requires a slow walk and quiet observation; at Shangri-La Qufu, everything is just right. If you're planning a trip to Qufu, consider this your home away from home – it's more than just accommodation, it's a place to experience Confucian charm and find peace for your mind and body.

MMalidaThe room was very satisfactory! Especially for breakfast, we could eat sweet potatoes from Sishui, which were really delicious. They were the best sweet potatoes I have ever eaten in my life, sweet and sticky. In the evening, the hotel not only provided fruits, but also provided some longan and white fungus health porridge. Although I was afraid of getting fat, I couldn't resist the temptation and ate it.

CChichidechiFacilities: A great hostel, it's been a while since I've stayed in one, and it brought back good old memories. The rooms are in the back courtyard, very quiet, and there's a bar in the front courtyard where you can socialize. The price is also reasonable. Cleanliness: Very good, very clean. Environment: Great, the transportation nearby is very convenient, and it's also very close to the attractions. Service: Classic hostel style, everyone is very nice and approachable. Next time I come to Qufu, I'll definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserMandarin speaking staff only. Almost at the door step of Confucius temple which was what we wanted. We were dropped off at the rear entrance of the motel which is the car park. The ground of the car park is in need of repair and we were worried by its look. We wonder what we had booked. The front of the hotel or main entrance was OK though. Reception was modern and simple. There is a wall at the back of reception that layout all the town's attractions with its respective distances; very handy. Room is a standard mid grade motel room, clean and functional. Room amenities is controlled from a small phone like screen next to bedhead. Swipe to reveal function like air conditioning. Heated and self flushing toilet for a motel; unheard of! Tried the buffet breakfast once, never again. The dumpling cafe which is diagonally opposite the rear entrance across the car park is excellent value. Nearest shopping centre is about 1km walk from motel.

WWuxingquetu261. **Service Experience** I have to give a special shout-out to our butler, Dai Shanshan. Her service was attentive and thorough throughout our stay. After we checked in, she proactively recommended itineraries, local eateries, and transportation options based on our plans. She was also incredibly responsive to all our questions. The hotel also provided complimentary fresh fruit, special Dragon Boat Festival gifts, and even thoughtful late-night snacks. The service far exceeded that of hotels in the same category, making for an excellent experience. 2. **Location** The hotel is located in the heart of Qufu, right next to Ginza Mall, offering easy access to dining and shopping. It's only 1.3 kilometers from the Three Confucius Sites, just a few minutes by taxi, making it very convenient for sightseeing. 3. **Hotel Environment** The overall decor follows a Confucian cultural theme, providing a tranquil escape from the bustling city. The rooms are quiet and tidy, and the garden-style environment is serene and comfortable, ensuring a high quality of rest. 4. **Facilities** The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, and the guest rooms are fully equipped with thoughtful details, maximizing comfort. **Summary** Considering its prime location, excellent facilities, and warm service, this hotel offers great value for money. LLolita🏢 : The outside is a bit old but the reception place is bright and clear, easy to get around. 🏙️ : the location is absolutely amazing, very near to all that should be visited in QuFu 🚬 : although public areas are smoking free, it smelled terribly bad cigarettes. Even inside my room, it smelled strong odor of tobacco which was unpleasant. 🧹 : cleanliness is average and could be improved as I found some ashes and one or two peels of sunflower seeds. 🥞 Breakfast served is Chinese cuisine, very rich and delicious. Very much liked it ! Nice music during shower time which is put automatically. Good quality bed, very enjoyable sleep. Overall nice service from people working there.
