Kashgar Hotels with Balcony

I really like the Kashgar style of this hotel, which matches the ancient city very well. The courtyard room has a door and a window, and the balcony is large and ventilated. It is quieter at night because it is not on the street. The service is also very good, and the staff are very enthusiastic. I will stay here again next time I come to Kashgar!

This hotel is not perfect but overall I had an amazing stay. First, the woman on reception is very friendly and helpful. She let me check in early as I arrived from Urumqi at 8am. Thanks to her I was able to get a good sleep before I started exploring the old town. She even gave me yogurt and granola so I wouldn't have an empty stomach. Despite the language barrier, she was patient with me and was always willing to help. The location could not get any better. It's inside the ancient town so you can easily walk to shops, restaurants and cafes. Cars are not allowed in the ancient city but that wasn't a problem -the hotel is roughly a 5 minute walk from one of the entrances to the old town so it's very convenient to walk there to take a taxi, find a bus stop etc. The decor of the entire hotel is beautiful and fits in very well with the asthetic of the old town. I just wish the communal areas on the roof top was better maintained. It is starting to look a bit shabby. Overall I was happy with my room but there are some things I wasn't pleased about. First, apart from the tables on both sides of the bed, the other cabinets in the room were for show -they don't actually open, meaning there is very little storage space. Also, I like having a window I'm my room so I can feel less claustrophobic. I paid extra for a courtyard view. That's because I wanted to see the courtyard. However, I opened the curtain, and I found out that the windows are opaque. I opened the windows as far as I could without banging the TV, and there's a barrier over the windows. I understand they have these measures for privacy but in my opinions, curtains are enough. That definitely dampened my experience. Lastly, the walls are extremely thin, meaning almost every night I was woken up by other people making noise in the courtyard. Overall I am happy with my experience and I would book here again next time I visit Kashgar, but I would book a room with a city view instead for the reasons mentioned above.

I booked an executive king room at Yifei Hotel from 4.29 to 5.1, and a tatami suite at Yifei Resort Hotel from 5.4 to 5.5. On April 29, my friend came to the front desk of Yifei Hotel alone. The front desk said that they had booked Yifei Resort Hotel and took my friend to another building to check in. My friend asked again and again, and another employee explained that we should stay in another building, but they sent my friend here, so they could only check him in despite the mistake? On a sunny day, my friend insisted on going back to the front desk of Yifei, the same front desk she went to the first time, to check in. This time we stayed for two days. On the second afternoon, the room card could not be used. My friend asked the front desk if it was only used for one day, and the explanation given was that there was a problem with the machine. 5.4 When we checked into Yifei Resort Hotel, the front desk registered our ID card with the public security system and then took a photo of our ID card with their mobile phone. We clearly expressed the risk of information leakage, and the other party simply apologized and said there was a problem with the system, and that this was done to speed up check-in. That night we returned to the Yifei Hotel restaurant for dinner (my friend ordered from the room in front and said it was fast and delicious). This time it turned out to be very bad. There weren't many people eating, but the food was served very slowly. Three minority waiters were playing around next to us. We ordered clay pot rice, and the waiter was mixing the rice for us at the table. A piece of sausage fell out, and the three waiters blocked our view and put the sausage back. When my friend caught them in the act and questioned them, they didn't say a word or apologize. Finally I called the manager to communicate. This is our second trip to Xinjiang. We have been to almost all parts of the country. My friend has a Gold Card at Marriott, a Gold Card at Atour, a Platinum Card at Huazhu, and he also stays at Hyatt, Hilton, InterContinental, **F4, and Ctrip Diamond. It can be said that we have stayed in hotels of almost all price levels. Many of the staff were unprofessional, but it was the first time we encountered such frequent problems during our stay that we were caught lying and being dishonest. I hope the management can understand that the price of a hotel is determined partly by the hardware facilities and partly by the warm service.

In addition, there is a Uyghur lady in the store (who can also speak Chinese) who can better understand local customs. 4 Surroundings: Based on my three-day dog ​​walks around the area, I found that in addition to being close to the old city of Kashgar, the area around the homestay is located in a residential area, so at night, within a three-kilometer radius, there are dozens of night market stalls scattered on various streets that are worth exploring. There are many varieties of milk ice cream, chicken rolls, watermelon🍉, lamb skewers, fried skewers, lamb offal, spicy hot pot, grilled corn, etc. I even think it is more fun than the ancient city, because I don’t know if there will be something I haven’t eaten at the next street corner😂 At the same time, behind the street of the homestay is the carpet street of Kashgar, which has richer varieties than the ancient city and more reasonable prices. It is suitable for picking small gifts or for personal use. In addition, there is a river park nearby, and the wetland environment is good. You can see birds and fishermen during the day. It is a good place to walk the dog and the kids. 5 Supplement: Because I was busy going out to play in the first two days, I didn’t know until I chatted with the boss on the last day that this store was just opened in 24 years, so some aspects are naturally not as comprehensive as the hotel, but the boss is sincere and enthusiastic, and he often invites us to chat and eat together. On the last day, the boss even invited a Uyghur chef to teach the foreigners how to make dumplings. I had an unforgettable meal of Uyghur-style dumplings and big plate chicken that combined Chinese and Western styles 😂 So if you have anything you want to say or do when you come, don’t worry, just communicate and discuss with the boss, he will be very enthusiastic to help you improve your travel experience! ps. You must look beautiful when traveling, but many hotel mirrors are too far away and there is no light, so it is tiring and difficult to put on makeup. When I went to eat in the morning, it was almost finished, but the two aunts still didn't fool around, and they kept checking which one was missing and added it immediately. I feel that your family can take a one-shot check-in video and take pictures of the small details, hahaha, otherwise many details can't be seen in the pictures. Parking at the hotel is convenient, check-in is fast, the room is very clean, and the hotel service is also very good and welcoming. Perfect location above the lively old town main food street with nicely decorated, spacious rooms and a balcony where it is easy to relax and people watch on the street below. Fast WiFi too, and a powerful aircon unit. Definitely recommended. We liked it so much we returned for a second, longer stay. (Note that being in the pedestrian-only old city you can’t drive directly to the hotel but it’s only 5 minutes walk from the nearest taxi drop-off and about 10 minutes walk from public parking.)

As for the details, this is the better-decorated bathroom I have stayed in recently. The bed in the B&B is very comfortable and I slept well.
