YYouyizainidechengI stayed two nights at Courtyard No. 2! It had the best butler service I've ever experienced in a hotel or guesthouse! The guesthouse offers 24-hour butler service, and the two young Uyghur butlers, Xiao Mu and Xiao Ai, were incredibly considerate and attentive! They accompanied me around the old town, helping with my bags and belongings, and even brought me bottled water when I left! They prepared fruit for me when I returned! My bag got dirty at the old town security check, and the two butlers meticulously cleaned it with toothbrushes and dried it with a hairdryer, neatly arranging it on the tatami mat! I was truly touched!
I spent a whole day exploring the old town, and the two butlers accompanied me throughout. Their guidance at many of the sights saved me a lot of trouble!
The courtyard was exquisitely designed, with well-arranged plants and unique Xinjiang elements like camel bells, a traditional heated brick bed, and tiled walls, all exuding exotic charm! The room floors were thoughtfully designed, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and there were even neck pillows—you could tell the whole team worked hard and was highly professional!
Turning away from the hustle and bustle of the old town and the shops lining the streets, returning to this tranquil and beautiful courtyard was refreshing and comfortable! The refrigerator was stocked with an endless supply of juice and beer, along with exquisite braised meat platters, and plenty of fruit and pastries—enough to keep up with every meal! Breakfast offered both Chinese and Xinjiang styles, although the Xinjiang-style naan bread was a bit hard, perhaps a local preference. Kashgar evenings are cool, and the butler provides a heater and shawl; sitting on the earthen kang (heated brick bed) in the courtyard for a drink was incredibly comfortable!
Staying at such a guesthouse and having such a butler made the long journey worthwhile and will surely leave a lasting and beautiful memory!
Next time I'm in Kashgar, I definitely want to experience the other courtyards! This time, I also had afternoon tea at Courtyard No. 7, but I couldn't have dinner or a bar at Courtyard No. 9, nor could I extend my stay at my preferred Courtyard No. 1, so I have to come back to Kashgar! Back to the Silk Road! Because the Silk Road is my destination! 🧚♀️

OOverlanderElla / Shen, the owner is a very nice person and her DIY wine project is cool. The male dorm was nice and clean, the bunks had a good curtain and I was lucky with the people staying there, people were respectful with the sleeping times etc. and I think the instructions by the hostel helped with this. The instructions were definitely a good thing to have but they could be also developed more with the guest’s needs in mind, I would think how to make the things as accessible as possible and try to think outside of the box, try to see ot with the eyes of a foreigner that most likely struggles a lot with the local character system and finding their way around - very basic things. The client service is key here. Thank you for the stay, I wish all the best for the future.

GGuest UserThe team at Munage went above and beyond all expectations. We were met at the gate of the old city with a cart that took all our suitcases after a long and arduous border crossing from Kyrgyzstan. Upon reaching the accommodations, there was fruit and drinks waiting for us which set the tone for the stay. We were having issues with a misspelled name on our departing flight booking. Ah Zhe promptly took over the problem and shooed us out to explore while he called the airline relentlessly in order to solve our problem. By the next day, he sent us the confirmation of the corrected airline booking, which was after many hours of being on hold on the airline helpdesk. I have never ever had a hotel staff so willingly take over my travel issues with such ownership. This is hospitality of the highest order. On our last day, they had gifts for us and even booked and paid for our car to the airport. This standard of service is impossible to beat.

GGuest UserThe room was quite clean. The hotel wasn't big, but it was still pretty good for taking photos and checking in online. It wasn't far from the entrance to the ancient city, and most importantly, it was very close to the popular Rainbow Alley, making it very worthwhile for the room price. Unfortunately, there was no elevator, so I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. My suitcase weighed 20 kilograms, but thankfully the hotel owner helped me carry it up. The next morning, he got up early again to help me carry it downstairs and even walked me a short distance. I was so touched. Because the suitcase was so heavy, I only realized when I got home that the handle was broken, which was a bit of a shame.

GGuest UserThe stay experience was great! The room was clean and tidy, the floor-to-ceiling windows of the room were spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept until dawn. The breakfast was also very rich, the front desk lady was warm and efficient, and the check-in and check-out were very smooth. The location is also very convenient, it is convenient to eat and go shopping around. I will choose this one next time. ～

GGuest UserGreat hostel to stay at for a short trip to Kashgar! It’s close enough to the Ancient City (about a half hour walk) and easy to get to both the railway station and airport by bus. The amenities here are great with good lounge areas, free laundry, place to hang laundry, and a kitchen! The bathroom situation isn’t great thought because the shower is right over a squat toilet. Also this isn’t the cleanest tidiest hostel with rubbish overflowing and and luggage strewn around the reception area. It’s not a big issue but be aware the hostel is definitely not as nice as the photos!

GGuest UserCome to Kashgar for a business trip to see the project, staying at the Intercity Hotel in Kashgar is really far beyond expectations, the whole process is too amazing!
The room space is particularly spacious, which personally confirms the reputation of Xinjiang's land and natural resources, and the stay is super comfortable. All the staff of the hotel are very warm and caring, especially to praise the front desk Xiao Zengli, treat people kindly and thoughtful, take the initiative to recommend us local authentic food and a good place to play, the recommended hand-caught rice tastes authentic and delicious, the whole journey happiness is directly full!

TTeo Sin DeeThe location is great. The shower and toilet at 2nd floor need to be clean regularly. Also it helps to put curtains at both the entrance/exit because when you take shower, the wind/ cold air really send shivers down your spine. Please please fix the door at 209, 211. When you want to close the door from the outside, you have to pull to shut it and the bang can wake up the whole neighborhood.
