Linfen Hotels with Balcony

I specifically came to Linfen to visit the Ancient City Courtyard Museum Hotel, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations! Staying in a room converted from an ancient architectural courtyard was incredibly atmospheric. The wooden structures and blue bricks created a rich ambiance. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, so my one-year-old baby could sleep undisturbed. The courtyard offered beautiful scenery at every turn, full of ancient charm, and stepping outside immediately immersed me in the flavor of old Jinan residences. The accompanying meals featured authentic Linfen cuisine. The local specialty snacks tasted genuine, the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors catered to both the elderly and children. I could enjoy local culinary delights without even leaving the hotel. The hotel itself is a small museum, with old artifacts and folk exhibits visible everywhere. After returning from visiting Hongdong and Hukou, strolling and relaxing in the grand courtyard was exceptionally pleasant. The staff's service was gentle and attentive; they patiently and meticulously explained directions and answered questions about attractions. My entire stay, from check-in to check-out, was comfortable and pleasant. Choosing this place for a historical trip to Yaodu was absolutely perfect. Living in an ancient courtyard, savoring Jinan flavors, and appreciating folk customs offered a one-stop experience of Linfen's thousand-year heritage. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Linfen!

The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, well-ventilated and brightly lit, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast included staples like milk, eggs, millet porridge, steamed buns, and a few small side dishes. There's ample parking right in front of the guesthouse for several cars. The guesthouse boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the Yunchu Mountain Scenic Area ticket entrance and also very close to its main parking lot. There are several restaurants nearby. We tried Jiudama Sichuan Cuisine, recommended by the owner, and it was absolutely delicious. The guesthouse owner was incredibly hospitable and attentive. He was very knowledgeable about the Yunchu Mountain Scenic Area and offered us many excellent sightseeing tips. He even went out of his way to drive me to the scenic area's parking lot to charge my car, and the next morning, he personally drove us back to pick it up. He truly runs his guesthouse with exceptional care and dedication.

Facilities: Very good. The 1.8-meter bed room is large enough, with a sofa and coffee table, and a small balcony. The rooms next to each other cannot see each other unless the side curtains are opened. The slippers are of a kind that can be worn for a period of time. The quality is considered Very good. The slippers used for bathing are very clean and new. The details are great! The room is fully intelligent and has a skylight so you can see the starry sky, right above the bed. It's basically at the top of the mountain. It is only a few dozen meters away from the highest point. There is a car to pick you up the mountain. I also saw some people driving up. The hotel has a large viewing platform which is also very good. There are a lot of bugs in summer. Another way to go up the mountain is to take a ferry, but you have to walk a lot of climbing and stairs. But I also experienced it. It’s such a feeling of enlightenment. If you don’t have children, the ferry would be beautiful. Hygiene: The glass is very bright, the room does not smell of smoke, the toilet does not smell of sewer, the toilet is smart, the sink has no water stains, there is a wooden comb in a gift bag, and the slippers are placed in a sealed bag , extremely clean. Environment: You can see the stars while lying on the bed. From the small outdoor balcony, you can see the lights of Jishan Town in the distance, listen to the rain and watch the sunrise and sunset. The cool breeze blowing on the hotel platform has a nice view of the mountain top. There are just a lot of bugs. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent. After all, there are many trees and grass, and there are all kinds of little black bugs. The food we eat is most inconsistent with the national conditions. I feel that the sausages and chips are not as good as our fried dough sticks, tofu, pancakes and other Chinese breakfasts. Eating here always feels bland, just what kids like. However, it is understandable that it may be difficult to transport food in the mountains. I recommend the grilled fish for dinner and the shrimp and eggs for lunch. These two are particularly delicious. Service: There are free tickets and ferry tickets for the ropeway🚡, but I didn’t know about it carefully before going. I wanted to experience the ropeway with my children, but I didn’t expect that the ropeway is still a long way from the hotel. Walking and carrying the baby up and down even though it is a horizontal translation, it can be tiring. dead. It is tiring to let children experience the ice cave. After all, it is a mountain. Even if there is a ferry ropeway, it still takes more than half an hour to walk with children. The overall feeling is that of comfort and relaxation.

Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped. Since we were traveling with a child, any items we needed during our stay were quickly delivered to our room after calling the front desk. There's also a simple children's play area on the fourth floor. The only downsides are the lack of a laundry room and a swimming pool. Cleanliness: The hotel, from the entrance and lobby to the rooms, was very clean. For those traveling with children, hygiene is paramount, and we felt completely at ease here. Environment: Located within the Yunqiu Mountain scenic area, there's a shuttle bus right outside the hotel, making it very convenient to get to all the attractions. Service: The service was exceptional. From help with luggage and check-in guidance at the entrance, to being escorted to our room, and staff at the front desk and hotel entrance guiding us to the shuttle bus – every step was thoughtful and thorough. They were always happy to answer any questions. Special mention goes to the lovely manager at the front desk, who, upon seeing we had a child, proactively arranged free breakfast for our child the next day – a gesture that truly sets this hotel apart from most. She also provided a detailed explanation of the scenic area's routes and schedule using a map, including where to take cable cars, buses, and shuttles, and estimated visiting times for each section. Even without prior planning, we had a clear itinerary. This is definitely the top choice for accommodation in Yunqiu Mountain!

I'm not a shill, but this place is genuinely fantastic! It's newly opened, so everything is brand new, and you can tell the owner put a lot of effort into it. The rooms, and even the entire guesthouse floor, are incredibly clean. The owner is also lovely and very helpful. The air conditioning suddenly stopped working late at night, and she replied to my WeChat message super quickly and helped me fix the issue. There's a washing machine and detergent available for free, and also a place to hang clothes, which dry quickly in the summer. It's really, really comfortable; for me, it's basically on par with Atour or All Seasons hotels. I'll definitely be back to stay at Xiaoxitian again, and if they can maintain this quality, I'll definitely bring my friends next time.

It was the quietest night I stayed in during my trip. I never expected that there would be such a B&B in the valley of Shanxi. There is also a restaurant open at 9pm. Although the staff have not received long-term training, you can see the simple folk customs of farmers from them. The room furnishings and supplies are comparable to those of homestays in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. The scenery is indeed a unique valley style in the north. Not far away are some cultural relics in the village and the ruins of old cave dwellings. The evaluation of picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence and seeing Nanshan leisurely is also in line with

The hotel's service was okay, but the paint on the walls of the room was peeling off, and the toilet in the bathroom was terrible. It didn't match the room rate at all, and it was a waste of such a large hotel. The parking was convenient, but many of the floor tiles were broken. I will definitely not choose this hotel again next time. Also, the bathroom on the first floor was terrible, but I forgot to take a picture.

I booked a stay at Yishengyisu, and they offer two room types: a LOFT and a standard room with a balcony. I arrived quite early in the morning, and the front desk told me they had reserved the LOFT for me. However, when I checked in, the front desk didn't say anything and just gave me a standard room with a balcony instead 🫤. I was really looking forward to the LOFT room type. Plus, there were cigarette butts on the room's balcony from the previous guest. Aside from that, the environment, dining, and hot springs in Kangjiaping Village were all pretty good. Overall, I'd rate the environment 5 stars, and the front desk 4 stars.

This hotel is the hotel I can find on Trip.com from Xiaoxitian with a relatively high evaluation. I didn't expect to step on the big pit. Mainly the hotel is too poorly soundproofed. The most expensive room was specially set, which was facing the street and passed to Xiaoxitian. And this street is a traffic road, crossroads, there are various carts passing by, rumbling. The room is too old, the windows are not closed tightly, and the sound insulation is too poor. The proprietress said that there will be fewer carts after 11 o'clock. In fact, it is midnight and the cart has not stopped, and the frame is ringing. Then the tractor came out again at 4.5, and it felt like sleeping on the side of the main road for a night, and I basically didn't fall asleep. Hygiene is OK, the mattress is the hardest spring mattress, almost equal to no. It is recommended that people who sleep not particularly well avoid lightning. In fact, the county seat of Jixian County is quite big, there are many places to live in it, if you want to be quiet, don't choose this location facing the street.
