The courtyard ground is flat and spacious, and the high walls provide excellent privacy, so you don't have to worry about strangers passing by or making noise. Toddlers can safely walk around and explore at their own pace, chasing sunlight and observing the greenery. The ubiquitous brick and stone carvings also offer visual stimulation for little ones, creating an immersive atmosphere. Located in the core area of the ancient city, the city wall is right outside. It's very close to all the city's attractions, saving you from long journeys and hassle with a young child. The rooms retain the original structure of the old house while being equipped with smart bathrooms and high-quality toiletries, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel provides special children's toiletries, the butler is gentle and accommodating, and the overall environment is quiet and peaceful. For Shanxi tour, from Taiyuan Jinzhong, Datong, Datong, all the way south to Hongdong Big Banyan Tree, choose Hongdong Yuye Jingyun Hotel. I really feel that this is my most satisfied and favorite hotel. Independent building, the hotel atmosphere is high-end, the facilities are complete, the rooms are large and comfortable, the front desk service is warm and professional, and the service staff in the building are warm and welcoming. They were always happy to answer any questions. Special mention goes to the lovely manager at the front desk, who, upon seeing we had a child, proactively arranged free breakfast for our child the next day – a gesture that truly sets this hotel apart from most. She also provided a detailed explanation of the scenic area's routes and schedule using a map, including where to take cable cars, buses, and shuttles, and estimated visiting times for each section. Even without prior planning, we had a clear itinerary. This is definitely the top choice for accommodation in Yunqiu Mountain!

Let's start with the location. This hotel is very close to Xiaoxitian Temple. We followed the manager's instructions and rode a shared e-bike there, which took about 8 minutes. Shared e-bikes are very convenient. As for the hotel's amenities, Xiaodu basically takes care of everything. The room is fully automated, the room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. As for the breakfast, it's a small town, so it can't compare to big hotels, but it was still good, and the wontons were delicious. As for the staff, be sure to pick up the little card they provide when you arrive; it's very helpful and personable. By the way, if you can see the manager, add him on WeChat for an even better experience. He'll send you some very helpful messages. They also have a large parking lot, and valet parking is also available, which is very convenient. Another great place, recommended by the owner, is Ma Shi Restaurant across the street. Stepping into the lobby, the vintage 'Maillard' colored walls, the European-style fireplace area, and the walls lined with books instantly transported me into an artistic space, making the fatigue of my long travels disappear. When checking in, the front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. As a hotel within a scenic area, the facilities were clean and tidy. We had a view of the Yellow River from our window, and the service was excellent. We received helpful reminders during both check-in and check-out, and even a thoughtful souvenir. The restaurant downstairs had delicious food; compared to where we ate the next day, both the portion sizes and taste were far superior and very reasonably priced.
