It was a truly memorable trip. On our first day, it was drizzling. Auntie explained that winter in the tea mountains is the dry season, and it hadn't rained for a month. This was the first spring rain, and we witnessed a sea of ​​clouds slowly rising from the mountains. That evening, we drank Pu'er tea made by Auntie and received a souvenir containing ancient tree Pu'er tea she had made. The tea trees here are very old, mostly over a hundred years old, covered in moss and parasitic plants. Tea pickers have to climb these ancient, tall trees to harvest the fresh buds and leaves. I'm very grateful to Auntie for such a precious gift. After having a local breakfast of rice noodles, we spent the morning in the ancient tea garden. At an altitude of 1800 meters, the mornings were cool and the sun was pleasant. The animals here are very free; chickens, pigs, cows, and dogs roamed the tea plantations with us, creating a harmonious atmosphere. I strolled around the village; it was very primitive and rustic. In the afternoon, I saw an incredibly healing sunset. The experience here was completely different from the guesthouses in the city. I was hosted by the auntie herself, and her family was very kind and warm. There were no waiters, and even the animals were free and content. It felt like being isolated from the world, perfect for city dwellers like us to relax. It was truly a very relaxing experience and trip.

I brought my mother to Xishuangbanna to play, from Jinghong to Nannuo Mountain. It took a long time to choose a homestay. I did a detailed study of various homestays in Nannuo Mountain on Ctrip, and finally chose Nannuo Mountain Tea Garden Homestay. After checking in, I was extremely satisfied with the environment, hardware, and especially the software of this homestay. We originally planned to stay for one day, and we were very satisfied with the experience and stayed for another day. If the flight home had not been booked, we would have stayed here to have a good time in Nannuo Mountain. Nannuo Mountain Tea Garden Homestay is very new, the room is very large, larger than some of the surrounding inns, and there is a balcony where you can sit on a leisure chair and look at the distant mountains and clouds in a daze. Banshan Jianglu Hotel is just below the Tea Garden Homestay, and it is far inferior to the Tea Garden Homestay in terms of cost performance alone. It is very convenient to park in front of the Tea Garden Homestay, and it is very convenient to drive here. There is a platform on the roof. If the sea of ​​clouds appears, it is an excellent viewing platform. The homestay has two tea rooms where you can drink tea, chat, watch the scenery, and enjoy the years in the mountains. Hardware is only secondary. The real trump card of Nannuoshan B&B is the two Hani couples who run it. The young couple is very nice and treats guests like family. The food cooked by the proprietress is very delicious. You don't have to worry about eating when you stay here. This is a key link in running a B&B. Nannuoshan Tea House B&B is far better than some of the surrounding inns in terms of eating. I understand that some B&Bs in the surrounding area have to solve the problem of eating outside by themselves. No matter how much you say, it is better to experience it yourself, and no matter how much you hear, you can see it with your own eyes. The Japanese have a saying called ”Ichigo Ichie”, which means that many people may only meet once in our lifetime. I sincerely thank the good people I met, and the young couple of Tea House B&B are such people. Staying here makes my mother and I very satisfied and happy. By the way, her tea is very delicious, and you must taste it carefully.

Facilities: The homestay here is the villa owner who bought the house to be hosted for use as a homestay. The park is very large, but many houses are still under construction, there are not many people, and it is relatively desolate, but the park also has supporting love manor and golf courses. The housekeeper gave the owner card and could go to the love manor to see the peacock for free. The only thing that may be a bit troublesome is that the bath is an electric water heater. In order to prevent others from taking a bath without hot water, they cannot take a bath at the same time. As a homestay, the price/performance ratio is quite high. Hygienic: The sanitation of the homestay must not be benchmarked against the hotel, but overall it is good. After staying for two days, the room cleaning was done the next day. The bedding was very comfortable and clean. Environment: The environment is quite good, it is relatively desolate, and the walk is still very comfortable. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we were visiting a dear friend rather than staying in a hotel. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. The food was exceptional, and we were treated to fresh fruits and tea throughout the day. She showed special care for our children, teaching them (and us!) how to make tea, and even accompanied us on a walk to share her knowledge of the local flora. One day, she surprised us with her hidden talent as a musician, singing traditional Chinese songs while playing the guitar and drums. Her smile and positive energy were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. This homestay was more than just a place to stay—it was an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, warmth, and cultural connection. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, knowing this was the best place we've ever stayed in China. Where do I start? What an incredible hotel and great hospitality especially from 小姚 in the bar. We wanted espresso martinis, which were off menu, and he learnt very quickly how to make a tasty espresso martini. The hotel provides lovely amenities and daily activities. The swimming pool is a real photo opportunity as it’s an infinity pool and you are surrounded by beautiful scenery. The bar has the best views and very chilled. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable and free dessert was offered on the first night.

We drove to Menghai by ourselves. This hotel was recommended by a local friend. It is really good in all aspects. The service is very warm, the facilities and equipment are relatively new, and it is very convenient to travel. I will continue to stay in this hotel when I come to Menghai in the future.

It is still quite a long way from Menghai to Zhanglang Ancient Village. The proprietress specially drove to pick us up and also saw us off when leaving, which was very considerate. By pounding bitter eggplant, pounding river bamboo shoots, and pounding tomatoes, you can taste the unique flavor of the mountains. I also ate their own wild honey, which was sweet to my heart. Drink: The landlady brought out various kinds of ancient tree tea and Pu'er tea for us to taste. With the sound of rain outside the tearoom and the faint fragrance of tea in the tearoom, we chatted about home affairs in an understated way. I felt that although the landlady is young, she has a sense of self-reliance. The sense of self-reliance and strength brings respect. Wan: Even though the lady boss is young, she got on her motorcycle and took the two of us on the muddy road in the mountains. She was very cool and comfortable. We were taken up the mountain to pick mushrooms, tea in the ecological tea garden, and ancient tea trees in the primeval forest. We also encountered wild Ganoderma lucidum on the way. Le: The Baixiang Temple in Zhanglang Ancient Village is particularly beautiful, and the thousand-year-old trees are particularly divine. Passing by Menghai during the trip, I decided to stay here on the spur of the moment and booked this hotel. The town is not big, and the location is probably on the edge of the city. The transportation is convenient. Parking can only be on the roadside, and there is no parking space of your own. The room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom lighting is not particularly bright, but it is generally OK. The breakfast is simple, boiled eggs, rice noodles, but the taste is OK. The restaurant staff is very polite.

This most expensive room is the one with the worst lighting in the hotel facilities. Daguida has nothing to do with it. The bathtub is easy to wet outside. The tile floor is matched with yellow-painted walls and the wood looks very cheap. The narrow wall kitchen cannot be used at all. It is really not as good as the inn before. There is no partition wall between rain and toilet. The glass door does not have frosted stickers. The door is facing the aisle, next to the bed, and I feel that all kinds of people can see the room uncomfortable when they walk by. In such a large space, would it be better to put a sofa in front of the bed, otherwise it would be so big to lay a picnic mat for me? We looked at other rooms in the morning, they were better than this room, this room was not transparent and had no lighting, it was really depressed. Can it be improved, and the recommended price is lower than other rooms. Service and attitude are very good, but there are too many injuries
