"Location was convenient, very near the train/bus station. Concierge staff was able to converse in basic english which made it way easier for us and they were all very nice. The room was so spacious and the view from our room was amazing!!! It was actually peaceful to just sit and stare out of the window. The toilet was spacious enough too. We did not use the onsens avail in the hotel but they also had a family onsen room that was free for use for anyone as long as its available and it works just like a private onsen, but free! I absolutely loved our room and would definitely recommend & also hope to return someday 💕"

Hello This facility has hot spring facilities because it is by appointment only. Therefore, you need to apply in advance when you use it (refer to the front desk when you check in) . The usage time for each room is 1 hour exclusively for each room. At the same time, please note that the hotel rooms with room numbers (107) (106) (105)(103) need to use the public bathing area because they do not have a separate shower room. In principle, only showers are provided. If you need to use the hot spring, please Confirm with the staff according to the instructions above.

"The hotel is located in a picturesque place. The staff is helpful and pleasant. There are no shops nearby, but we were warned about this. They met us at the station and took us to the station! We recommend it to everyone who also cares about aesthetic pleasure!"

Forest Glamping, Kanadenomori-resorts

I had a fantastic experience at Forest Glaming! The staff, including Mr. Terada & the cool dude with long hair, were not only incredibly friendly but also made an effort to communicate with me in English and encouraged my attempts at speaking Japanese. Despite missing the shuttle bus, Mr. Terada kindly came to pick me up. The resort is a serene haven, offering tranquility and the cleanest toilets I've ever encountered. ✹Being tented near the shower and toilet facilities was an added bonus. 😼💹The food was outstanding, especially the aged domestic beef 🍖 BBQ. The only disappointment was not having the chance to share the wonderful dinner with the staff. I totally recommend Forest Glaming to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape with exceptional service and facilities. The staff's warmth and willingness to engage in different languages truly enhanced my stay. Fantabulous!!! đŸ˜đŸ„°

Overall, it's a good place to stay! However, there are no facilities outside of the room, so while it might not be for everyone, I think most people choose this hotel specifically to avoid others, so it's not really an issue. That said, check-in and check-out are done in the lobby. If these could be handled in the room, then you truly might not have to see anyone at all. The check-out time slightly breaks the illusion for me, so I'm giving it a 4, but with high hopes for the future. It would be even better if they could ask about dinner service speed beforehand. If you do make a request, they are very accommodating. I will definitely come again.

This time I stayed near Izu Kogen Station, just a few hundred meters walk away, which was very convenient. Facilities: The restaurant and hot springs were all available. Although the hot springs and restrooms are shared, it wasn't inconvenient at all. You can play PS5 and use the massage chair. There are two hot spring baths, one large and one small, which can be reserved in advance. Cleanliness: It was cleaned daily. While traditional Japanese-style rooms don't inherently look as 'clean' as modern ones, I found it quite clean. Environment: It's close to the train station and there are some restaurants nearby. The owner keeps the place very nicely decorated, with many interesting ornaments and designs. Service: The staff member is *********, which made communication very easy. Every day, a large thermos of hot water was left at the door. The hot spring reservation software was very convenient and integrated with WeChat. When I left, the owner insisted on driving me to the train station – the service was absolutely top-notch. This little inn is quite interesting; if you're used to modern hotels, you might want to try this Japanese-style one. I would definitely consider staying here again if I come back to Izu.

There was a mistake when I made the reservation, but the front desk kindly handled it. Thanks to them, I was able to have a wonderful stay! I think both the staff and the environment are wonderful. The amenities and facilities are very clean and simple, so you can enjoy it even if you come empty-handed. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity!

The best hotel on this trip to Japan, love. Open the door, my friend exclaimed that it was the landlord's house 😄. Pure Japanese style, the housekeeper began to introduce in detail from the front desk, and came to the door to bring hot tea and Japanese snacks, friendly and comfortable. The private soup in the room is not too good! The room was delivered with snow muscle essence suit gifts, as well as small bags with kimono, which repeatedly reminded us that we could take it away as gifts. The slippers are wooden rafts, which is really a proper atmosphere. Dinner and breakfast are served in the room. The little girl waiter smiled and introduced them together, and they came up one by one, which was no different from the Michelin we had eaten. When we left, the waiter took the initiative to take pictures of us and printed them for us on the spot. The smile waved us away from the sight. This service and experience are really great value. If you go to Izu next time, it’s not here.

The seafood sashimi was a little small, but the meal was satisfactory. The stairs from the parking lot to the front room were tight for me with bad knees.

For Dashishan and Cactus Zoo, the hotel is near Izu Plateau Station. It takes about 18 minutes to walk and there are more slopes. People along the way are also very quiet with cute flowers and plants. You can store your luggage for free on the day of check-in. Going to Dashishan or taking the bus honestly, watching the walk is only 40 minutes, but there will be private roads along the way that are not allowed to pass, and the map walking navigation is still not very smart. The room is Western style, there are tatami mats, the price is really super high. The room is much larger than expected. There is a toilet sink. You have to take two free private soups to take a bath. It is said that the private soup feels like a large bath in an ordinary hotel. It’s super cool to have a lock on the personal door. In addition, there is a free drink machine coffee machine, very crazy sweet water.

Highly Recommended!! Key Point: The hotel includes a one-day admission ticket, allowing access to three attractions within one day: (Cactus Zoo, Izu Granpal Park, and the New York Lighting Museum Garden). We recommend checking in after visiting Mt. Omuro, enjoying a one-night stay with two meals at the onsen (hot spring), and then visiting the above attractions the next day! Perfect for families and couples! We recommend driving or walking to the hotel from Mt. Omuro/the zoo. Environment and Location: The hotel is located next to Mt. Omuro, about a 10-minute walk from the Mt. Omuro Ropeway; it also has a private entrance to the Cactus Zoo (accessible via a gate next to the hotel). The hotel features a terrace and platform with stunning surrounding views, perfect for taking photos, overlooking the sunrise, night views, and Mt. Omuro. Rooms and Facilities: Spacious rooms with a semi-Western, semi-Japanese design. Meals: The hotel offers a Japanese set breakfast and a kaiseki dinner.
