"This is a very well priced accommodation but wish we’d known a few things first. There is only a fan in the room which means the room is very warm outside of directly in front of the fan. This did mean we ended up lying side ways on the bed to both reach the fan. The bathroom had mesh across the back so has an outside feel and some outside critters. We had to evacuate a few huge flying beetles across the two nights. It’s a peaceful location further away from Kampot centre than others but there’s always tuk tuks available right out front so isn’t too much of an issue. We probably would stay closer to the centre next time as we prefer to be closer to restaurants, despite the nice views of the river. Showers are okay temp and low pressure but overall fine."

Amazing
GGuest UserThis is a brand new hotel in Kampot. I was genuinely surprised by how incredibly clean it was (the staff even take off their shoes to use the first floor). It seems to be family-run, so it has a local inn vibe, but the bathroom has modern shower facilities, the TV and AC are LG, and the fridge is a new MIDIA model. I highly recommend it to anyone who prioritizes cleanliness and quietness. The WiFi is fast, so you can easily get work done. Its location near the Durian Roundabout in the city center makes it convenient for getting anywhere.
SSoung NgorngThe portier, who is also the entire hotel staff, was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming to us. The location is great—not too central and near the port, but also not too far; the market is just a couple of minutes away on foot.
Our stay was very pleasant, even though the weather wasn’t (raining and a little bit stormy). The bathroom was a little bit adventurous because of the weather, as it had an open roof—but we knew that.
We would recommend this hotel, and we are coming again.
GGuest UserOnederz Kempot is a clean and welcoming guest house with a beautiful pool area that's perfect for relaxation. The food served here is quite good and adds to the overall pleasant experience. They offer entertainment options including table tennis and other games, which is a nice touch for guests looking to have some fun. Unfortunately, most of the games equipment is in need of repair and appears quite broken down. I hope the management will invest in upgrading or replacing these amenities soon, as they have great potential to enhance the guest experience. Despite this issue, the game area concept provides good entertainment value and shows the guest house's commitment to offering more than just accommodation.
GGuest UserMagnificent, quiet hotel. High-quality service, very kind and welcoming staff. Beautiful view of the river from the terrace. Excellent Wi-Fi and pool. A bit of a shame that the location is 2 km from the city, but it does allow for peace and quiet.
MM418941****The shower only had cold water, but thankfully it wasn't too cold. It was under renovation when I checked in, so it was a bit messy, but the front desk staff were very friendly. Most food stalls nearby cost around two dollars, and there's also a large supermarket, making shopping convenient.
GGuest UserI costed me $38 and I stayed here for a night. I came here as a solo traveler and booked a double room with balcony. There was a big pool on the first floor. The location of the hotel was decent, although the road to the hotel was pretty rocky and deserted, kind of in the middle of nowhere and I’m unsure of how safe it is during the night seeing as there’s not many lamp posts.
The room is great and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and the room was nicely decorated. You can watch YouTube on the TV but like most hotels the smart TV doesn’t really work properly so Netflix didn’t work. The amenities they offered were enough, they provided a refrigerator, hair dryer and all the other necessities that a standard hotel would provided.
Although the bathroom would flood due to how far the drain was from the shower head, you can just move the shower head closer to the drain so it would not flood the whole bathroom. Everything was clean. But there was a minor mosquito problem when I woke up in the morning. Bathroom door lock doesn’t really work properly, butyou just have to pull it a bit harder.
The service was great, the staff were helpful and communicative. I got an avocado toast and milk coffee for brunch at the restaurant, it was good.
I would come back here when I return to Kampot!
GGuest UserIt's a great hotel, and the breakfast is fantastic. However, it's incredibly humid. The smell of dampness in the room is very strong, and the stains on the walls are quite noticeable. But the staff are wonderful and do their best.
LLarisa ErilinaI liked the hotel, interesting interior. Very cozy. Large room, comfortable bed. Everything you need is available. Convenient location, markets, embankment, many shops and cafes nearby. Very tasty breakfast! Polite and smiling staff.
AAh Choo 168Peaceful Retreat with Excellent Service
Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city.
The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out.
That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.
