"Will definitely come back! The place is very spacious with complete basic needs, it's great even for big families, company outing or team buildings. Each bed was provided with a towel and a blanket. They have a cooking area and a wide dining area. They also have a mini store inside the resort. Facilities are clean, room T&B and even the common CR/shower areas near the beach are clean. They also have a grill area and dining area near the shore. The shoreline is perfect with fine sand and it's less crowded, and expect to play with La Union waves. This is indeed a beachfront property. Also, they're very close to grape picking locations, you can try that activity, with wine tasting!"

Amazing
KKeinagisaramWent with my bf and with other couple (our friends) and everything is nice except that the AC can't cool the whole room, thus the presence of an e-fan inside the room.
No telephone or hair dryer in the room unlike what's showed here but with complementary towels and soap. The receptionist acknowledged our feedback on our checkout and we are happy!
Will for sure come back
AAnonymous UserOverall, we had a good stay. The best part is definitely the location—it’s beachfront, so it’s very convenient and the view is beautiful.
The only downside was the air conditioning. During the morning and midday, it wasn’t enough to cool the room because of the extreme heat, so it felt quite warm inside. However, once it was evening or early morning, the air conditioner worked well and the room became comfortable.
If the cooling during the daytime is improved, the stay would be even better.
GGuest UserThe superior room is a bit small for 4 people. Not worth it for the price that I paid. But it was clean and comfy. The facilities and features of the resort are a bit outdated, perhaps because it was too large, making it hard to maintain. However, we still had a pleasant stay to ring in the new year.
GGuest UserFor the price you’d think you’ll have access to basic toiletries and drinking water. But no, i had a toothbrush witb really awful tasting toothpaste and a very very veeeeery small soap.
I guess it’s fine but i’d appreciate it if that info was said somewhere that toiletries are not included
GGuest UserOn the positive side, Monliza Surf Resort is in a perfect location for those there to surf. My balcony directly overlooked Mona Liza break. The fresh water shower available as you leave the beach is a nice perk. The staff is also very approachable and helpful.
On the negative side, the hotel is very outdated and in need of a facelift. There are broken tiles In the bedroom and bathroom, threadbare sheets/towels, and the Wi-Fi is very inconsistent. Having said that, the price is reasonable for the fantastic location!
GGuest UserOur stay at San Juan Hostel was really great. The place is clean, relaxing, and perfect for a short getaway. We loved that there was a pool where we could unwind and enjoy our free time. The location is also very convenient because it is near Kabsat and just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy for us to explore and enjoy the area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the overall atmosphere of the hostel felt welcoming and peaceful. It was definitely a pleasant experience, and we would gladly stay there again.
CClariza GarciaTheir location is good along the road, especially for riders like us, it's easy to find if you're driving on the road. They also have a restaurant so it's very convenient. The only problem is that their blanket for couples is super small, like a toddler's blanket, so you have to pay another 200 php for a larger blanket. They only gave one towel for couples so you have to ask at the restaurant, but the towel is free.
MMia PiIt was an old house turned to be a hotel. It was so relaxing coz there are lots of plants, trees and view of the sea.
They allow us to use the microwave and other utensils. The bed was so soft and room was big.
