Very "Bali" in terms of design and layout. It is showing its age and could do with a refurb, starting with the bathrooms which have a weird 1970s...umm..."pebble stones design" on the walls.
The food in the restaurant was poor and pricey, including the worst breakfast (and Bloody Mary) ever tasted. They claim to have a gym... they don't really have a gym. The location is solid. The staff are friendly and many appear to have been there for years. Worth a look, but only if you're getting a good deal on the joint.

The bathroom is relatively original. There is a noise in the ceiling at night. I don’t know what it is. The room is relatively large and close to the beach. The staff is also good. You can ask the staff to charter a boat.

This is my fifth time back to Rambutan and still love it.We looked to see if there was anything else we were missing out on in Lovina but found nothing that compares to here.Clean large traditional rooms with beautiful outdoor bathrooms.Good breakfast and full bar and cafe if you dont feel like going out for dinner,I had jaffles for breakfast as I was over eggs and they were the best thing to start the day.Walking distance to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants,mini marts and some shops.Staff were good and very friendly

My second stay here and loved it the second time as much as the first. Was upgraded to a Deluxe room with a huge room and balcony . The breakfast is more than adequate with real Vegemite on the menu , toast fruit drinks , fruit platerr , eggs done how you like them, fruit pancakes , etc . The location is fine close to resturants, the beach , supermakets , . There is a fitness centrw that was fine for a quick holiday workout . Tina was happy to match the street currency exchange rate at reception so do ask . Lovely staff and gardens. Cant wait to go back.
