What an amazing resort. Spotlessly clean & stunningly beautiful. It has everything that you need onsite & the pool is fantastic. All the villas are in true Balinese style & the bathrooms have all the mod cons. The staff are the best. Nothing is too much trouble & they will certainly go out of their way to help you find what you need. The resort is situated only a short 5 min walk to some great shops & restaurants. The chef at the resort was fantastic & all of the meals that we had onsite were wonderful. I certainly will be going back there next time I’m in Bali.

We stayed for 2 nights on a tour of Bali, a last minute booking. The pool view villa was stunning with four poster bed, full mosquito nets & semi outdoor bathroom. Beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean, gorgeous linen & towels etc. The staff were the best, service above & beyond, so helpful and happy to help sort our onward travel. An in-house driver was supplied for a trip to the monkey jungle (free of charge). Breakfast was chosen from a menu the night before, it was exceptional- highly recommend the fresh fruit & black porridge. Only tiny thing we'd change was to have a TV in the bedroom (only 1 to use in reception). Fully appreciate why there isn't one, the villa is peaceful, quiet & meditative but as it was rainy season we'd probably have watched a film one night. That said we'd be back in a heartbeat, it's beautiful (& so is the hotel cat!)

A really gorgeous place to stay to get away from the madness of Ubud, yet a 15/20 minute from the busy main road. Kano Sari was a quiet haven, luxurious rooms & staff who couldn’t do enough for you. The pool was a joy to come back to & we enjoyed both breakfast & dinner on their wonderful patio, it was a like a canopy in the trees.

My stay was the best hotel experience ever. Beautiful and quiet environment, well decorated and clean villas and the sunshine for my stay were all the members of Kano Sari. The breakfast was also amazing. They offer great options for local traveling as well, also the massage they organize is a must try! The location of the hotel is also perfect, near to the center but in a very peaceful street of Ubud.

Kano Sari is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are all so kind, welcoming & helpful. They gave lots of recommendations about the local area (and beyond) & organised all of my day trips with an excellent guide & driver. I was keen to learn some Indonesian phrases while there & Tiayu in particular was very patient in helping me with this. The breakfast is incredible with a changing a la carte selection throughout the week, not to mention the gorgeous setting by the pool & overlooking the jungle trees. There is also a great selection of food options throughout the day for snacks, lunch or dinner. The villa itself is a relaxing place with lots of different places to set yourself up with a book or just to sit & listen to the sounds around you or enjoy a swim in the pool. Even on rainy days this place is a peaceful & refreshing retreat. The room is very comfortable & private (I stayed in Tepi, but all rooms have their own space) & the bathroom was fantastic. On my first day my runners got saturated & the team was able to arrange for these to be washed & dried through their laundry service (extremley reasonable rates). The team are also able to arrange in house massages & other spa type services or help to book these for you at one of the many spas around Ubud. Ubud is a great place to experience culture, art & food. Kano Sari is a perfect base for your adventures or if you prefer just to stay in and enjoy all that it has to offer. Karen, Novi, Tia and the rest of the team at Kano Sari were so beautiful. We enjoyed our stay so much and nothing was too much trouble. I mentioned one morning that I liked snake fruit and the next morning they were there at breakfast. We appreciate the attention to detail, How clean everything was and that we were made to feel like family. We will definitely be back. Thanks again everyone. Natalie x

Possibly there are probably even nicer accommodations to be found in Ubud with even more luxury, facilities and options but... the hospitality at kano sari cannot be taught, this is with feeling and from the heart. The small scale and personal attention fulfils what is desirable. For us, this has become a natural address in Bali when we are there, thanks again for making us feel at home, until next time
