As shown in the pictures, the room is exceptional. It offers a spacious layout with a king-size bed, a large bathtub, and a patio sofa on the balcony overlooking the pool. The room also features a separate shower and toilet, along with a minibar and coffee machine for added convenience.
Breakfast was decent, and the overall service was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located—just a 3-minute walk to Kuta Beach and about 10 minutes to Beachwalk Shopping Centre. There are plenty of eateries, bars, massage centers, and convenience stores nearby.
The pool looked amazing, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to use it due to time constraints during our short 2-night stay. Otherwise, I would highly recommend The Stones for a comfortable and relaxing resort experience in Legian.
I was meeting friends from the uk for a couple of nights and this was where they had booked for 14 nights. I felt a bit bad for them as there is extremely limited storage. Fine if it’s just as a few days. I feel this was likely more the fault of their travel agent.
For me .. it was very comfortable. Rooms are fairly small with unfortunately no views.. just the wall of the building next door. It’s ok as I wasn’t planning on spending a long time in there apart from sleeping.
The breakfast was very nice and definitely worth the paying the small amount extra.
Afterglow bar and restaurant on the 6th floor has some great views and lots of seating. The pool is adjoining the bar and overlooks Kuta beach.
Prices have certainly gone up in Bali since I was a backpacker but in general still cheaper than Australia. Beware of the ++ tax and service charge that is usually always added on. It varies in percentage and can make a reasonable priced drink tip over the top. I think the bar and restaurant was 9% and 10% so it’s a fair bit. But you do have a lovely view.
We had high hopes but were a bit disappointed upon arrival. The service was excellent, and mostly the room was great, but the tub was a huge reason in booking this room, and it was quite expensive. When we arrived the tub had plastic inside and was still wet from the previous night. In addition we ran the water and eventually had to have someone come to fix the tub so it would stay up, and then the water was never able to really get hot. In the end the hotel did offer to give us a complimentary massage (for both of us) to make up for it. However we still hope that they will fix the issues with the tub for future guests.
The room and pool were amazing! If you’re a couple looking for a bathtub/jacuzzi experience, we recommend Sini Vie just down the road from here.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was decent. The service was generally alright, though I felt that some of the staff could be friendlier and more welcoming — a warm smile can go a long way in making guests feel at home.
The breakfast offered was fairly average. Considering the price we paid, I was expecting a bit more variety and better quality. It wasn’t bad, but certainly left room for improvement.
In summary, it was an okay experience, but a few small changes — especially in service and breakfast — could really enhance the overall guest experience.
The staff are friend and helpful. When I need recommendations to the place of food/shopping, they share their information with me and recommend place to us. When I was at the double 6 beachside, and not sure where to wait for the hotel pickup at beachside, I text hotel thru their message system, they replied me promptly. They also get the driver to the beach waiting point to pick up my husband and me back to hotel. They provide wonderful service.
Great Location: Opposite there's a public beach. But the beach is dirty and lotsa rubbish. Some eateries nearby. Beachwalk Mall is about 15 mins walking distance. But the road in front of the hotel is terribly jam especially in the evening.
Hotel Room: Spacious. With Bathtub. But the room is old. Furniture has worn off. The aircond must be set at 22 deg celcius or else the room will become damp and smells like wet cloths. The floor is sticky. Do not open the balcony if you do not want mosquitoes to attack you. The pillow smells like wet cloths.
Service: Service is good. staffs always with a big smile. They are very helpful.
Cleanliness: i thought was ok not until the last day i saw a small brown cockroach at the hotel room entrance. Everyday there is room service, not sure why there is still a cockroach.
Hotel Buffet breakfast: Lots of choices but quite repeative every day. Taste wise not really nice for my liking. I didn't finish most of the food.
They provide a free photography session which i find it really thoughful. The hotel compound is nice, with lotsa greeneries and landscaping. It just that the swimming pool is small.
It was great by seeing the reviews and pictures, but when we checked in the hotel looks tired.. the bedsheets full of yellow marks, towels were greyish and the toilet was the worst..full of yellow dirt marks even the mini refrigerator was full of mold spots. I complained about the condition and the gave me another key to check the room next door. The condition was the same so I end up did not change the room. I tipped the housekeeper to at least brush clean the shower room for me. The hotels has so much potential but I think they should look Into the details for cleaning and maintenance. Even the lift was not working for 2 mornings as I were trying to use it. It was not responding at all.
Five star service! Quick check in and out. The friendly and outgoing staff made sure you are looked after. Can provide airport transfer services if arranged in advance. Location in Kuta/Legian is very close to the beach and shops but the street is very narrow and can confuse some taxi drivers. The rooftop pool and bar offer a great view of the beach and surrounding area. The restaurant downstairs has a good lunch and dinner menu and has buffet breakfasts for reasonable prices. The room was cleaned daily, serviced, and had good amenities. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would stay again. Highly recommend.
”I had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel, and I must say, it truly lived up to its claim of being the best! The staff were warm and friendly, providing top-notch service that made my stay truly unforgettable. The highlights of my stay included a decadent breakfast served in the swimming pool, a rejuvenating spa treatment, and a romantic flower bath. The breakfast in the pool was particularly amazing! The hotel's proximity to the beach, just a 10-minute walk away, was an added bonus. Thank you for making my day in Bali so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience.”
A wonderful hotel in Kuta. Not the closest to the coastline but not far away from it. The staff was always really friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The windows of the rooms face the inner yard with a swimming pool so the sun never shines directly in them, which makes the rooms cool and not stuffy.
Due to high humidity level clothes don't get dry in the rooms (guess it's the same all over Bali) so we had to take our clothes to the laundry service a few times. Several laundries and money exchange points are in close vicinity, as well as some cafes.
Breakfasts at the hotel are almost always the same, so if you stay for more than a week, you can get bored with them.

AAnonymous Userthe villa is indeed beautiful, however i would not recommend staying here if you are coming with elderly and young children. the floor throughout the entire villa is very slippery and you always have to walk with caution. altho they did clean up the room, there were huge spiders that fell off from the ceiling on our first night. it was horrifying and i had a bad fall from that. the staff was helpful, he came in to catch the spiders. however i am extremely traumatized by this incident.
GGuest UserThe hotel staff are friendly and the interior of the room is nice. Although I don't know why there is an odd smell occasionally, but overall it is quite comfortable. The location is very good in the Kuta area. The beach is next door and can be reached within walking distance.
JJuli Kartika🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Excellent Stay at Fairfield Hotel Legian!
I had a wonderful experience at Fairfield Hotel Legian. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The check-in process was smooth, and I immediately felt at ease. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the room’s cleanliness and the cozy ambiance. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep throughout my stay.
The pool area was relaxing and beautifully maintained—perfect for unwinding after a day out. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety of delicious options, both local and international.
The location is another plus—peaceful yet close enough to the vibrant heart of Legian. It was easy to access restaurants, shops, and the beach.
What stood out most, though, was the staff. Everyone, from housekeeping to the front desk, went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. Their genuine hospitality made a big difference.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bali and looking for comfort, great service, and value. I’ll definitely return!
NNozzaThis hotel is very nice and scenic. It has a very nice ambience and setting. The rooms are very comfortable and cozy. The hotel is based in a quiet area of Legian and a cheap affordable food court is located nearby.

SSheldoService is good, need to overlook the breakfast service. Mostly the foods are empty, cup and glass are empty, tables are dirty. The rest of it is good!
