Terrific fully serviced RV campground - lots of space and privacy, well maintained, good washrooms. Shuttle service to town when needed. In common with other national park sites no laundry or shop for those last minute essentials so plan ahead.

We had a fabulous stay here for 3 nights. Really well kept site with great facilities. The staff were super helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our local walk taking in the stunning views. There’s a great bus service into Banff town which we took advantage of several times. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

Nice wooded campsites in Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court. No fire pits in the trailer court. Some sites are buddy and I would not have enjoyed that much closeness of another RV but it would be great for families. I posted a picture of the campsite map to help you pick a site. We stayed in 112 and it is private and has water and electric.

Nice spot with great view (spot 550). Very quiet and great location. Showers were horrendous tough. There was only one shower in the shared bathroom with a dirty old shower curtain. Not even a door to separate you from the people using the toilet. So basically anyone who would go to the toilet could see you standing there. Good to know: there is a bus to the centre of Banff. You can take it near the entrance. It’s free when you go to Banff, it’s 2 CAD to come back. Also, you can hear the train honking frequently, even at night. But there is not really a way around it when staying in Banff.

Great campground close to town of Banff. Roam shuttle bus stop located in campground with free service to Banff. You then only pay $2 for return ride. Originally scheduled to stay 4 nights but had to extend 3 additional nights due to Jasper wildfire changing our plan to camp in Jasper. 1st site 510 was great -level, lots of sunshine and starlink worked great. 2nd site 805 not level if we could have moved we would have. Try to avoid site 805. Always nice to have full hook ups. Please note. Tunnel Mountain Village II only has Overall experience was great.

AMAZING, this place was the highlight of our 6 weeks trip in our RV. Elk walking around the park, perfect walking distance. Can't recommend enough. We cannot wait to be back to this park. Definitely put this on your list of places to stay with in Banff. 🇭🇲🇭🇲

This is an amazing park. Huge but certainly not crowded. Lots of space between sites. Bathrooms limited. Quiet and restful. Bus service into Banff but not for pets! A good walking track around the perimeter. Easy access to Banff and other locations. The biggest negative is that the Canadian Parks open reservations all on the same day rather than staggering like US Parks do.

Have been here many times over the years at this time of year (August). Always a VERY positive experience. When leaving always planning for our return. Getting a site here is VERY difficult so we were excited to camp here. This time our experience was not as good. Bathrooms were NOT clean which was opposite our previous experiences. There was mold on shower tiles, showers not cleaned, floor covered in dirt & hair and a bandaid on floor for the entire 5 day stay never cleaned up. Trail maps in area are worn out and some unreadable. We have not seen issues with mice at this campsite previously and saw several at our site during our stay. The customer service at check in was not pleasant. The park attendant was not interested in explaining anything to us and perhaps no longer liked her job but was not the ‘welcome’ we were expecting especially at a National Park. This is a busy campground in a national park - bathrooms should be clean. Park workers should have good customer service regardless if it is nearing the end of the season. People travel here from all over the world - make this experience unforgettable for a good reason. Mountain views and walking bike trails still some of the best. Update the maps so user can rely on them.

This is honestly one of my favourite places we have stayed. We originally booked this in 2020 for a trip which obviously got cancelled, re booking it this year was A LOT more stressfull!! I dont know whether its worth parks canada keeping the booking open all year so that you can plan a trip and book without stress as the staggered system is hard planning road trips! Luckily once the booking opened i ended up Being 2000 in queue and was through within a couple of mins amd got dates required - if we were further down queue this could have backfired and our whole trip been ruined….. BUT we got a pitch we wanted with beautiful Views of the mountain. The site was peaceful and toilet/showers clean. Theres a roam transit bus which is free from the campsite to town or fairmount hotel the otherside of town. The same bus comes back for a charge of couple dollars and is super easy to use and a big help! We 100% want to come back - i just dont know if i can take the stress of trying to book it again! Tip— check the pitches on map and know what ones you want to book!
